1-10 of 19 Transatlantic Celebrity Edge Transatlantic Cruise Reviews
I sailed on the two week Celebrity Edge crossing in April 2023. It was my first celebrity cruise, and my first crossing, since Covid, so I’ve been away a while. The ship was only half full - 1400 guests, and almost that many crew on board. I believe there were literally only three kids on board, and perhaps four or five folks in their 20's. Definitely an older crowd.
Staff are professional ...
My third transatlantic eastbound crossing and love the sea days - reading, sunning, casino, brilliant speakers. I was prepared that these single cabins have no drawer space. None! My steward, Dominick, rounded up extra hangers and underwear/socks stayed in packing cube.
I was prepared to dislike the infinity balcony but was surprised I liked it. I never closed the frosted French doors that ...
We have sailed Celebrity before and we do like the line. We sailed Princess, Holland of America and Norvegian, but we always return to Celebrity. We always wanted to do a transatlantic and the time was perfect coming from a few days in Barcelona. We stayed at the casa del mar near the port and this was very nice the owners are wonderful. Embarkation was smooth we booked a suite it was our first ...
We have now cruised with Celebrity 13 times...We have always enjoyed the many features of the Cruise Line. But this time, we were a bit disappointed. The Edge is a beautiful ship; however, it lacks some of the features that we find so appealing in the Solstice class ships. For example, there are few quiet areas in the ship. Nothing like the Ensemble lounge or a library area or the Sky lounge. ...
We choose this cruise for the itinerary, and wanted to do Mediterranean and Transatlantic. The itinerary fit our needs perfectly. There were 4 of us, including a 17 year old. We've cruised other lines, for a total of 17 cruises, never on Celebrity.
Embarkation was the BEST ever! We walked in the terminal, no lines, they verified our negative covid tests and we proceeded to gangway. This ...
My 12th aboard Celebrity and I was beyond DAZZLED by every staff member with whom I came in contact with. My post cruise review mentioned that it must be a prerequisite that all staff be contortionists because they all "BEND OVER BACKWARDS."
Hotel Director and other senior officers are very accessible and as engaging as they are intent on surpassing passenger expectations.
Each of my 14 ...
We love transatlantic crossing and hoped everything about our two previous Celebrity crossings would be there plus more. The short answer...no way!
Where should I start?
The biggest ripoff with this ship is the “infinite balcony.” What a crock! It is an ocean view cabin with three extra feet and a window that SOMETIMES goes up and down. If there’s rain or wind or anything else it’s ...
Here is our feedback from our Celebrity Edge Aquaclass Transatlantic Nov 1 - 17th. In all honesty we had a magnificent cruise. Our AQ infinity stateroom was perfect for us and the extra space on a 15 night cruise was really appreciated. We loved the bathroom and the spacious shower (although there was some flooding on a few days, Guest Relations are aware and gave us $200FCC to say sorry). The Spa ...
We wanted to experience the new Celebrity Edge, and having been to most of other ports in the other itineraries, we opted for a Transatlantic to maximize the time on the ship rather than the ports. We were a part of a group of 10 ranging from our 40s to our 60s, and some of us were skeptical about the number of sea days...9 out of 14. Well....after our time on the Edge, we are all looking to do ...
Overall Impression: Excellent! Technologically modern cruise liner, but some minuses explained below.
Embarkation: Easiest ever, by far. No waiting, attendant simply scanned pass from cell phone, checked passports and we were on! Sea cards were waiting at the entrance to cabin.
Debarkation: Also the fastest, easiest ever at the Ft Lauderdale cruise terminal. Two years ago, it was the ...
