I want to start this out by saying the ship is gorgeous and the staff is incredible. I appreciate everything Celebrity tried to do with this ship. To me, the ship lost some of it's charm though. The ship is nice and new. I do like the new ship design but I do not think that it is worth the extra dollars to take the Edge. The staff is nice.

The Edge is a fairly new ship trying to break the mould, but unfortunately it is a bit like Marmite, you etither love it or not! We are the not type. Lovely ship, food was excellent in all areas. Did not try speciality restaurants.Staff all very friendly. Entertainment different to other ships but enjoyed them. Loved the rooftop garden with film in afternoon. Eden was our favourite bar for pre dinner drinks Oliver the bar attendant was great. Also loved breakfast outside of Oceanview Restaurant.

Overall lovely ship and itinerary, despite changes due to bad weather. However single cabin booked off plan with Celebrity 18 months ago did not indicate a 50% obstruction. Lifeboats situated all the way along single cabins on decks 6 and 7 port and starboard. Some have 0% obstruction and some 50%. Mine was the latter.
