I was in an Aqua A1 cabin and location was very good. Our cabin was quiet and nicely decorated. We had the infinity veranda and loved it! It was a bit noisy to move it up and down but it was not a big deal to us. The only annoying thing is that you have to hold the button until it is completely up or down but that could be a safety feature. I would had preferred to just press it once. The infinity veranda to us felt very private and allowed us to enjoy the breeze of the ocean while increasing the size of our room. I think we prefer this type of veranda to others. Bathroom was roomy and very nice and we loved the shower! Read Less

LOVED THE INFINITY VERANDA. We kept our folding doors open the entire time, but I guess for those that want to sit out on the balcony while keeping the room dark (maybe for a spouse that wants to sleep in) then it would be an issue. But for us, it was perfect. It lengthens the room considerably and it is totally private. You could literally stand at the rail naked and no one could possibly see you. The rooms have two configurations. One, where the bed is closer to the balcony with the lounge area closer to the door, and the other where the bed is closer to the door with the lounge area closer to the balcony. We were in 9281 with the bed closest to the balcony. This is a great arrangement for those who want to be able to look out to the ocean while in bed, and it gives you a little more room to access the closet. However, the other arrangement is fantastic if you want a larger lounge area. Since the folding doors open up completely, all you need to do is spin the balcony chairs around and you have a lounge that would easily and comfortably accommodate 5 people hanging out. So, 9281, 9285, 9289, etc. are with bed nearest to the window, while 9283, 9287,9291 etc. are with bed nearest to the door. Overall, I would have preferred the lounge area closer to the balcony to give a larger living space than having it chopped up. So, something to be aware of for next time. LOVED THE BATHROOM - Great shower (although we were in Aqua Class so the shower is enhanced), but the space overall feels bigger, and it has a great storage drawer under the sink. Read Less

First, our cabin -- We were in Aqua Class with an infinite verandah (all AQ have in infinite verandah) and super excited to try this new type of cabin category. With the earliest cruisers reporting back that it was just a window, not a true balcony, our expectations were re-set and we were not disappointed. Our infinite verandah allowed us extra space in our cabin as we kept the French doors open at all times. We opened the window frequently, including all night long in order to hear the ocean waves. There were only two instances when the captain locked them -- once while in port in San Juan for cleaning, and another time when it was raining. We considered this space to be more of a "cabin nook" where we could sit and read, enjoy a glass of wine, and just chill out while looking out at the sea and smelling/hearing the ocean. The space provided maximum privacy, much more than a balcony. It's a fairly small space, however, and shouldn't be considered a balcony at all; it should truly be considered a large open window cabin. Read Less
