The overall experience was less enjoyable than in the past.

This was our fifth cruise on Celebrity and our third on the Equinox. We both agreed that the quality of service , the quality of food, and the cleanliness has gone somewhat downhill. The customer service staff seemed disinterested and stern. Even the Future Cruise representative was lackluster. She did make me want to book a future cruise on the ship. The food in the main restaurant , ...

A Bit of a Disappointment

This is our 47th cruise..the third or fourth time on the Celebrity Ecplise. Absolutely the worst room Stewart we ever had...our cabin was never cleaned until 1pm or later..every time we wanted to use the veranda he was washing it down. One night he even left that day's schedule as tomorrow's agenda. We received no mail..& we're not even invited to the cruise critic party. I had to call guest ...

A little disappointed

We chose this cruise for the great itinerary, which was perfect. Our disappointment lies with the ship itself and the entertainment outside of the evening shows. The evening shows were pretty good. While we are a recently retired couple - we aren't 80 years old. The biggest disappointment was the lack of Caribbean feel, no music at the pool. A band came out on sea days at 3:45 and played till ...

I have been on Celebrity twice before, so I was looking for a similar top quality experience. I didn't get it. Cabin- where is the storage space, especially important for a two week cruise? Where is the closet shelf? Where are the drawers in the bedside stand? We had to live out of our suitcase, a disappointment. Food- I guess the right word might be mundane. Portions were small, menu was ...

Wanted a two week cruise to Aruba to get some sunshine. We have done this same cruise three times over the last 4 years on the same Celebrity Eclipse. The ship still looks good they have kept it very clean and in good overall condition. There have been changes since our last cruise in 2015. They no longer offer Sushi in the upstairs restaurant, instead you must now buy it on the 5th floor Sushi ...

This was a two week trip to the southern Caribbean with stops at Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, and St. Maarten. We chose this cruise for it's itinerary, and were very very happy with all the ports! This cruise was our third cruise. My prior cruise experience has been on Royal Caribbean, the last one 3 years ago. I would say we are not, perhaps, the usual type of ...

We have taken the same cruise twice before and it was great, but this time it was not as good as we had expected. Service not as good. We both got very sick, I the first day, my husband the third day and several other eople we met had exactly the same problem. When we entered our Cabin on the first day of the cruise there was a piece of broken glass in the sitting area. I could have stepped on ...

Embarkation went well and we were on the ship fairly quickly. The ship looked to be well maintained, and very clean. Our stateroom was clean, but the curtains for the balcony window/door had holes in them Dining in the MDR was a disappointment. Food was far from Celebrity standards and often tasteless. The staff all over the ship kept encouraging specialty restaurants, so by serving ...

The ship is beautiful and staff friendly. The food was average to mediocre. The buffet looked great but most food items were disappointing. Salmon was poor quality.Eggs tasteless.Breads tasteless. Poor desserts but wonderful ice cream. Limited options for vegetarians. Tuna salad swam in mayo. Main dining room was gorgeous. If only food quality was as good as the ship looked. They ...

I have done this cruise several times over the past five years. I would have always rated this cruise in the A to A+ category - this cruise however merits a B- and I am being generous. The embarkation process was the worst nightmare I have ever experienced and I have done over 30 cruises. The terminal was packed, and no one was moving to get on the ship for hours. Announcements in respect of ...
