The overall experience was less enjoyable than in the past.

This was our fifth cruise on Celebrity and our third on the Equinox. We both agreed that the quality of service , the quality of food, and the cleanliness has gone somewhat downhill. The customer service staff seemed disinterested and stern. Even the Future Cruise representative was lackluster. She did make me want to book a future cruise on the ship. The food in the main restaurant , ...

Hi all, we are just off the Eclipse 10 night cruise (OK, 3 weeks ago). We booked 2 years ago while on the same route but on the Equinox. I didn’t take a lot of pictures and don’t have any food photos as they’ve been posted on here many times already. We are in our late 50’s (very late) and for the most part retired although we still dabble in Real Estate. We are pretty boring on a cruise. We ...

First Time on Celebrity

My wife and I are avid ballroom dancers. We enjoy dancing on cruises: lots of live music, locations, and fun. People we'd met had told us to try Celebrity. We were not disappointed. Embarkation went well and smooth with no problems; disembarkation was a bit chaotic. We weren't used to getting our luggage off of carousals but we did eventually get our luggage. First time on a Celebrity, ...

The food and entertainment were great. A bit of chaos at the entrance of the dining room on the first night but not too bad. We booked late and had the late seating but they were able to accommodate our request to change to the earlier seating. The room steward (Andres), waiters (Michael and Mario), cruise director (Eddy) and captain (Leo) were fantastic. There was a medial emergency that required ...

Good, but Not Great

Well designed ship. Was easier than most big ships to find way around. Cabin comfortable and well designed. Friendly and mostly competent crew. Gym is excellent and well-sized for ship, but spa prices to use sauna and steam are very high. The solarium is a wonderful space for adults-only relaxation. Wi-fi was better than experienced on other ships but still often very slow and expensive. ...

Horrible Food Experience on Celebrity Eclipse

We sailed on the Eclipse before and were very pleased with all aspects of the cruise by this time the food quality in the dining rooms was awful. Tried to eat I the main dining room 3 times and each time the quality of the food was terrible. The service staff were fine and apologetic for the quality of the food but couldn't recommend any better options. We ate in the cafeteria on the upper deck ...

Underwhelmed

This was our first cruise on Celebrity, and we chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We enjoy cruising as it enables us to see new places without having to commit to an extended vacation. Embarkation was by far the easiest we have done-very fast and efficient. Our cabin was not ready until after 1:30, and luggage did not arrive until 4:30. Our cabin (7216) was nicely appointed, ...

Excellent Cruise

First, the ship is beautiful. Great design and very well maintained. Cabin staff were excellent. Specialty restaurants were excellent, as well. Entertainment was first class. Service in all areas was "spot-on". My only "needs improvement" item is a minor item: on the last formal night in the main dining room for dinner, the wait staff all got together and did an "end-of-cruise" celebration dance ...

Still on board, even the Internet works great. We'e sailed on a lot of ships and brands. 7 of our last trips on X, two on Princess. Aqua class with the Blu restaurant and cruise directors like Sue Denning has us convinced X is the best for us. Yes no more chocalates on the pillows, sowhat, Anita the Blu. Asst. mgr made sure choc chip cookies were delivered each day. The entire crew was ...

I can't think of anything really bad to say about this beautiful ship. It is immaculate, the food is great, the entertainment is very good, the staff is friendly and very professional, the officers and senior staff are out and about and very approachable and on and on. Nothing upset us, it was wonderful from the start. This was cruise #30 for us with a total of 306 days at sea so we are veterans. ...
