Deluxe Veranda (2B) Cabin Reviews

Upscale Nothing : Cabin 7364
Holes in curtains and poor/no internet service. Otherwise the Sunset Veranda was perfect for us. We love the larger balcony and view from the aft of ship. Steward was outstanding.

The cabin was great. We were the first cabin on the bump out and had a bigger balcony. Not as big as I was expecting but then realized the cabins further out on the bump out would have bigger balconies, but ours was fine. The cabin has a ton of storage, some of which we didn't even find until after we were unpacked (there are cabinets above the bed!). Lots of storage in the bathroom. Bathroom is a really good size. Shower was a good size. Overall a great cabin! Read Less

If sailing from Buenos Aires, try to get a starboard balcony. If sailing from Chile, a port balcony is better. This is an itinerary where having a balcony is worthy of the added cost if reasonable. That's because it can get very windy up in the public outside deck areas when you are sailing by the glaciers and Cape Horn. With a balcony, you can enter and exit freely to stay warm, eat a bite, or change camera lenses. No issues with having a forward balcony. Little noise or ship swaying, even when the seas got a bit rough around the Horn. One negative is that the Eclipse's cabin storage space is a bit less than in other sailings I've done. Read Less

Great ship : Cabin 7240
Very well located. In the middle of the ship. There were no cabins across the way so there was plenty of room in the hallways!
