"One issue was our hard pillows but thanks to our room steward Alvin who saved the day by bringing us some memory foam and feather pillows from other classes of rooms on the ship we were able to have some good night's sleep. One tip we received from Cruise Critic that was really useful was that the walls in the room are magnetic...."Read More

1-10 of 1,274 Celebrity Eclipse Balcony Cabin Cruise Reviews
Hawaii…Come on you can’t beat this! The weather daily was in the 80’s and passengers were in good moods! We have travelled many times with Celebrity and enjoy all the cruises. This is no exception. So why the rating not to be perfect, well we will get to that later. First the arrival and getting on the ship was the best we ever had. We got there about an hour earlier that what our scheduled said, ...
This was our 5th cruise with Celebrity and second one on Eclipse. We are in our eighties and have cruised 18 times. This was a cruise Honolulu to Vanvouver:
All the information is likely on the Celebrity web site but navigating it is not done intuitively. For example it took me a while to find the date to complete the check-in and when to expect eDocs. There is no real way to avoid doing ...
PRE-CRUISE: Our trip began on May 8th with a 6:00 a.m. American flight from Tallahassee to Honolulu with a stop in Dallas. Flying time was 10.5 hours and we arrived in Honolulu at 3:45 p.m. On the 8-hour flighty from Dallas to Honolulu, they only served a light snack, so I recommend that you take some food with you on the flight. We arrived in Honolulu the day before the cruise and stayed at ...
This 12-day cruise around Hawaii and Pacific crossing to Vancouver BC was our first vacation since Covid. We found the Celebrity Eclipse to be as advertised with a large handicapped cabin with the biggest balcony we've ever had.
Kudos to the entire crew. We also met the friendliest group of passengers ever, which included Canadians, Australians and Americans.
We were rather anxious as this ...
We love Celebrity ships, always in Aqua class so we can dine in blu, always first class food and service, staff seems to have been given extra training in allergies, my wife has coeliac disease and staff were very good at keeping her safe from Gluten
As with all my reviews I like to keep things real and report on some big negatives on the cruise.
At the wonderful sunset bar there is no no ...
We recently went on a cruise to New Zealand which included stops in Dunedin (Port Chalmers), Christchurch (Lyttleton), Wellington, Napier and Picton along with a day spent scenic cruising through Milford Sound, Dusky Sound and Doubtful Sound – Fiordland. We had a great time. The cruise involved a total of five sea days, one as previously mentioned was scenic cruising. We were blessed with fine ...
So I enjoyed the cruise, BUT I booked a year previously and checked with Celebrity and was told price included drink package and internet, BUT on boarding no drink package or internet. Apparently over the year Celebrity changed their policy from all prices include drinks to you can pay extra for drinks if you book the cheap seats!!!
Thus started out really badly, luckily we were classed as ...
We chose this cruise before covid and this was a rescheduled cruise. We have sailed to Tasmania many time and this was more about the journey for us. Firstly the greetings in the terminal were very friendly and check in was very fast. We went straight to our cabin which was a balcony. The cabin was quite narrow and seemed cramped although it did have a lounge and coffee table. The balcony was ...
We are seasoned cruisers, and this was our sixth Celebrity Cruise. We were looking forward to the same Celebrity experience we've had previously on other ships, however we were disappointed overall with the offering on the Eclipse.
Let's start with the positives, and what went well:
1. The solarium pool was a very enjoyable space that we used a lot. We never struggled to find an empty deck ...
In Sept. 2021 we cruised the Apex. It had only been sailing since June, great ship, service, food, and shows. Eclipse not so much. In fact, because of our b2b2b we will not sail with Celebrity again. On Jan. 14 we started on Eclipse to do the Fiji islands (12 night) then New Zealand (12 night) and finished with Australia wine tour (9 night).
To start with the staff was amazing, always working ...
