Loved the Eclipse, the service of Stateroom attendant Vickson, Dining room Inacio, Kastawa and Koray best of any cruise we have ever taken (15). Main Dining Room food was exceptional!
We hired a private tour guide in Inverness and that’s the only way to go as far as we are concerned. J.A. Johnstone tours is exceptional, Ernie was our guide and added so much to our trip, the extra effort and ...
We just came back from the the July 1st sailing of Celebrity Eclipse to the Baltic Sea and I must say, we had a great time. The boat was beautiful, food delicious and plentiful and the itinerary was amazing. We booked two day tour with late night add on for St Petersburg through SPB tours and our guide Max was amazing!! The remainder of the cities we toured on our own, using Celebrity shuttle, ...
Booked this cruise 2 years ago when we were on the Eclipse in Iceland. We have done the Baltic itinerary before and love it. Things started off badly when trying to use the website which is unreliable, difficult, and has a tendency to lock you out forcing you to call and speak with a customer service person. Overall the ship is very nice - although is starting to show wear and tear. Things ...
The cruise was chosen for its itinerary to celebrate a special birthday. It was our first cruise so we were apprehensive but pleasantly surprised by the amazing time we had. The ship itself and facilities were of a high standard. Staff were attentive with first class service and good quality food. A big shout out to waiter Jesue, assistant waiter Abhishek and sommelier Ana who made evenings in the ...
We enjoyed our 1st cruise with Celebrity cruise and wanted to visit Russia for our 44th Anniversary for 2nd time with Celebrity.
We enjoyed the cruise again. The service we received by Valentine in the dinning room was excellent and memorable. He has been very polite, helpful and make an effort to accommodate his guests. He respected our choice and remembers each night our likes and dislikes. ...
We sailed from Amsterdamin in June and the itinerary was one of the most interesting we have done. This is our 5th cruise on Celebrity and our 14th cruise overall. As usual, the ship, the crew and the food and entertainment were all excellent.
We were part of a large group and our travel agent had arranged for private tours in all ports except for Germany and Holland. We couldn’t have asked ...
A Baltic cruise was on our bucket list. The price was right this year, and we chose Celebrity, our favorite cruiseline, to take us there on a 12- night itinerary from Amsterdam. The weather started out cool and drizzly, but after four days we had long glorious sunny and warm days.
We are a mid-60’s couple from Toronto, and sailed on the S-class ships several times, so we knew what to expect. ...
Overall this was a good cruise. We had a cabin in Aqua Class.
Boarding seemed an issue as they could not take photos at the pier and then we were given cards with someone else’s name on them. We then got off the ship and got the correct cards.
This is overall a nice cruise as it never gets dark at night so lots of time to look around.
The Aqua Class cabin is a regular balcony cabin but ...
We had not been to Ireland until this trip. We found it friendly, warmer than expected, beautiful, work very good food.
The Eclipse is a Soltice class ship and we love all of them. We have friends that know Captain Michael, so we may have had a few special touches.
We had to miss Belfast because 70 knot winds closed the port, first time fo us on 15 cruises. That meant we missed the Giant ...
After an aborted attempt to get into Reykjavik on Azura last year, I finally made it.
This was my main reason for booking this cruise.
Celebrity is still Celebrity. First time on Eclipse and all so similar to Solstice. Embarkation at Dublin went quite smoothly, given that it was in a large, very hot tent. I took a taxi to the port from my hotel. Easy.
I found the food OK in the dining ...
