Fantastic itinerary and great service

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Infinity

The itinerary was the main draw for booking this cruise. We were not disappointed. For the most part, port to city transportation was explained in advance and easy to understand. The ship does feel a little older and worn with some minor maintenance issues to be addressed. We appreciated the high-quality food in both the main dining room and the buffet. The cruise didn’t feel full, and we ...

Our Cruise on the Silhouette

On the Celebrity Silhouette December 4th - 14th Background: We are Elite members on Celebrity and have sailed on NCL, Carnival, RCL so not new to cruising. First cruise was in 1980 so we have seen the changes over the years, but I have to say that the current changes in Celebrity are the worst. The staff was great as always but you can tell they are very understaffed and over worked. None of ...

A very narrow demographic on this cruise.

This was our first Celebrity cruise, and only our fourth overall. We chose it largely based on Celebrity's reputation for service and dining. Our previous cruises have been Holland America Statendam to Alaska (1995), Norwegian EPIC to the Eastern Caribbean (2013) and Disney Magic to the Bahamas (2015). Both the NCL and Disney cruises were with our kids as a family of four. The first and and last ...

Most Disappointing Cruise Ever

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette

This was my 17th cruise, 5 on Celebrity and 2 on the Silhouette. By far the most disappointing cruise experience ever. Celebrity has always been a cut above the rest, but not on this cruise. The food, entertainment and treatment from the staff was very disappointing. Food in the buffet was repetitive and sometimes unrecognizable. No buffet carving board and reduced stations at dinner time? Basic ...

We are long time cruisers and have cruised the Southern Caribbean before. On embarkation day, we (along with hundreds of other people) are told that our typical drink package no longer includes the vodka we prefer. So, we start off the cruise frustrated and angry that our October 14 days cruise included our favorite and our December cruise did not (without any advance warning). Ate at Sushi on ...

A Mixed Cruise Experience: Celebrity Summit five nights to Bahmas Cozumel, Mexico

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Summit

Embarking on a 5-night journey aboard the Celebrity Summit to Cozumel, Mexico, my wife and I eagerly anticipated a luxurious experience, especially after opting for a concierge cabin upgrade. While the cruise had its highlights, including a memorable Cozumel excursion, certain aspects left us contemplating the value of the upgrade and the overall cruise experience. Cabin Upgrade: Our ...

After sailing mostly on RC and experiencing Norwegian and Disney.... Celebrity was a very different experience. Pros Comfortable seats everyplace. Not crowded at all. Amazing food in the buffet and main dining. Great service except one area. Clean (great job by Richard maintaining our room and spaces). Ana Duice and Activities Team Shows were ok... And got better as the nights ...

Celebrity fails on all accounts

Charges to my credit card do not match what was online on the ship. Further, we ran into the couple who dined with us on the ship at the airport and found out that they had the norovirus during the cruise and were allowed to come to dinner. On last few days both my husband and I were feeling under the weather and I came home sick with the flu or something. This was irresponsible of the cruise ...

Not as good as it used to be

Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

We chose this cruise so that we could visit friends in Sri Lanka. we upgraded to a suite which I found, particularly small. Cutbacks are very noticeable. Even at the daily quiz, there were no prizes given for the winners anymore, like a keyring or a hat. Too much room is taken up with the art auction. Staff did not seem as happy as usual . food in the buffet was very samey. . ...

A classic older ship and fun unique route

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

User Avatar

Most of the time, what the industry calls a "Cruise Vacation" is called for. I did a search for long cruises, 11/23, and then by price. In my experience, the lines are pretty similar. The Constellation is a lovely ship, and we had fond memories of an amazing trip to the Med and Turkey years ago. This 12 day run goes to some new countries and ports for us- Columbia, Panama, Costa Rica. ...
