We took a cruise to celebrate Spring Break. We departed from Miami Terminal G. Upon first arrival in the terminal, the age and lack of cleanliness were apparently going to foreshadow the remainder of the trip. While everyone in the terminal was very nice, it just was not up to the Celebrity status that we have come accustomed to.
Our first stop was in Key West which did go smoothly. It was ...
This cruise has been a total and complete disaster. We are currently on the Celebrity Summit. We got on the ship and should have gone w our gut feeling to turn around and get off. It has been the worst vacation we have ever had! Our room was dirty and disgusting upon arrival. We tried to get off in Key West but due to the Jones Act we would have been charged around $4k to get off. We sucked it up ...
Thanks to Covid restrictions and other family travels, this was our first cruise in nearly 5 years. We had cruised twice before on Equinox and were a little concerned that the ship might have changed considerably. However, we needn't have worried as everything was more or less as we remembered it! Our only gripe was that most of our favourite, and quiet (!), sunbathing spots were now reserved ...
our 21st cruise. 7th on Celebrity going back to the Century. Sadly our cruising days are over. We booked late so got an inside room on deck 2. It was dirty, missing towels and Kleenex unit our 2nd day. There was no Captain Club welcome, nothing. The ship is worn. How is it a 23 year old ship is still sailing when the beautiful Century got scraped years ago? We easily got into anytime dining at ...
I’ll start this review by saying I am a very experienced cruiser with status on Disney, Royal and Carnival and this was my first and probably last Celebrity cruise for a while.
Starting on a positive note with pros - the interior of the ship was redone during COVID so the rooms are very pretty. We went during a peak week so we did 2 ocean view cabins on the third deck and they were very ...
A 23 year old ship is never going to be impressive compared to a glitzy new one, but you know that before you board. What Infinity might lack in the the latest pizzazz it more than makes up for in style and friendliness and the recent dry-dock has left her nicely smartened up. Many carpets, furniture and beds have been replaced. (They even renewed many balcony chairs mid cruise).
Being a ...
We had a wonderful time on our 10-day cruise!! Eddy Jenkins was an awesome cruise director, and the entire staff was friendly and anxious to see that we had a good time and enjoyed good service! The rooms were cleaned twice daily, the food was abundant and delicious, and the desserts were "to die for." We enjoyed all of the ports visited, especially Antigua and St. Maarten. The entertainment ...
Just back from a 4 night cruise in a corner aft Sunset Sky Suite on Silhouette. We are Elite Plus but had not sailed since Covid and were a bit nervous because of all the Celebrity cutbacks and negative comments here. I am happy to report that Celebrity exceeded our expectations and we had an amazing cruise. We booked two more cruises while onboard. Here are some of our ...
This was our worst experience with Celebrity in our over 20 years of cruising with them. The Millennium is a dated ship that has not been well maintained. Celebrity should no longer be using her. Service has suffered greatly in the post-COVID era. The ship felt understaffed with totally indifferent staff. There were waits and lines everywhere. The buffet cafe was always crowded and dirty. We ...
The ship was excellent and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The only detractors were the distances from port to excursion destinations for a few places. 2-3 hour journey times were often the case. We didn’t go to Bangkok or Ho Chi Minh because of this. Instead we spent an overnight in Pattaya which wa only 40 minutes in a taxi (£8 on a Grab taxi rather than the $60 US the taxis were looking ...
