We just returned from a 10 night southern Caribbean cruise on the Celebrity Constellation out of Tampa. The following is a detailed chronology of the issues we encountered on our cruise.
Day 1:
We understood that there were issues on the previous cruise which caused a delay due to extra sanitation measures.
Once on board none of the staff on board has given us a correct answer. Asked for ...
The title of this review should say it all!!!! 11 Day Cruise from Tampa to the America's on March 6th-17th/2023. On Celebrity Constellation.....................not great for sure!
Go to the CDC site for the American government and you will see that Celebrity Sister's ship that docked on March 18th/2023 also, had GI issues and Covid. Most people probably did not report to the staff that they ...
We were so excited for our stay on an "upper scale" cruise line! Stayed in Aquaclass. Where were our towel animals? Where was our stateroom attendants? We never set eyes on him until we were leaving! We asked for ice to chill our wine in the bucket provided in our stateroom, and was brought a small cup, so we asked for more, and never received.
The one show we did watch was a not-so-funny ...
We picked Celebrity because we heard it was a good cruise line. We were disappointed.
The good: very nice room and outstanding service. The employees we came across were top notch and very pleasant.
The bad: No cold milk on the cruise, the dispenser is not insulated and the milk gets warm quick. The buffet food is the same (pretty bland) all the time. On a short cruise that shouldn't ...
We took a ten day cruise on the Celebrity Constellation out of Ft. Lauderdale to St. Maartin, Guadalupe, and St. Barth's in February of 2015. The ship also stopped at the company-owned island in the Bahamas. We had been on the same ship for a 15-day cruise to Hawaii in and out of San Diego several years ago. We'd also been on a Celebrity ship one 17-day cruise around the Horn several years prior ...
Best of this cruise:
1. Arrival at port and boarding went very well, and we were pleased with the process. Likewise leaving the ship on the last day went well, and we had no problem finding our luggage.
2. Our room stewards were good, and we had no issues with them at all. They were very helpful, and polite, greeting us every time we met them in the hallway. All of the staff seemed eager to ...
We decided to take a 2-day cruise to Nassau - mainly because the date was convenient for us as we were already in Florida and we had never been to Nassau although we had seen almost all of the Caribbean islands over the years.
From the beginning, things were annoying - the safe in our room didn't work and it took them hours to come and fix it. We went to dinner in the main dining room the first ...
What a difference two years make! From Celebrity "starring you" to Celebrity "designed for you" - newly renovated - but not there, where the ship really needed it. This was our 3rd cruise with Celebrity, 2008 on the Constellation, 2009 on the Equinox and this year on the Constellation again, because we loved the "old" ship very much.
The "welcome" was a nice room at first sight - then we found ...
We sailed on the Celebrity Constellation on 02-29-08 for 10 days. This was our first cruise on Celebrity, but our 20th cruise overall. It will be our first and LAST cruise on Celebrity. The Constellation was rated as the #1 large ship by Conde Nast Traveler in 2006; well, it may have been #1 then, but it sure isn't now in my opinion, and I would like to explain why we think that.
We sailed from ...
