Service generally way off cekebrity standards except in Blu - food and service there was excellent. Wi-Fi improved but still intermittent. Excursions so so. Local providers much better and cheaper. Prices for everything on the ship extortionate. Fitness facilities on the ship were very good and the Buffet selection on food was excellent The food and service in the Suite restaurant ...

Constellation - The only star for this ship was the Blu restaurant

After a wonderful cruise to the Baltic on Silhouette we turned to Celebrity for Christmas and New Year and found the India and Emirates cruise, which we booked with great anticipation. What a disappointment, the ship, not the itinerary. Not enough storage space in cabin, cases would not fit under the bed, seal strips kept coming off the shower door, the balcony, deck nine had a massive ...

Not Celebrity's Usual Standard

We are Celebrity fans having first cruised on Equinox in 2013. We only ever cruise at Christmas and with friends we met on our first cruise. The biggest disappointment was the arrogance of some of the passengers especially with the sunbeams. Now we Brits have a reputation for competing with other europeans for beds around hotel pools in europe but seizing 20 beds at 0630 using 4 towels per ...

Recently returned from this much anticipated cruise from Abu Dhabi. Found the ship to be tired with internal & external maintenance required, especially in some of the public toilets. There was a sewage smell at various areas throughout the ship during most of our cruise. On the last night there was a sudden potent smell of sewage appeared in the theatre mid show & approximately 100 people ...

This was our first Celebrity Cruise and though it would be a step up from others we had done, P&O, NCL, RCL, but what a disappointment, maybe it was the ship as it was very old. Thank goodness we and most other passengers had got a classic drinks package in with our cruise, the drinks if we had to purchase were extortionate. We visited Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman, Mumbai, Mangalore, Cochin and Goa. ...

I choose the cruise for the destination. The ship too my surprise was 29 years old and showed it. My Gripes are as follows: 1. The cost of the drinks package are a complete rip off an extra $600 for a non alcohol package or $1800 for alcohol (about 25% of cruise cost). 2 Entertainment was third grade and boring. Sound in the theater was not up to standard 3. They used to let you watch ...

Me and my husband plus a group of couples of 11 did the 12-Nights Israel and Mediterranean Cruise aboard Celebrity Constellation from October 30 to November 11, 2018. We are all seasoned cruisers having been cruised for 12 or more times aboard Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Carnival. It’s our first time to cruise with Celebrity. Here are our overall positive and negative comments. Positive ...

I chose this cruise because a group of us wanted to visit countries the apostles did their missions. The installation were very good, good options were also good and the service in the rooms was the best. Our allocated attendee Dewi was the best o ever had in any hotel or cruise. Seat down dinner was also a treat. The food selection was good and our waiters Arman, Linda and Adrian made our ...

Poor and lack of timely communication on Celebrity Constellation trip October 19

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

User Avatar

This is my 2nd Celebrity Cruise and it may be my last! The communication on the ship following severe weather and hitting another cruise ship was delayed, inconsistent and handled non-professionally by the captain and the officers. The lack of trained personnel to answer questions, to direct to appropriate resources and to effectively and timely offer solutions were non existent. Understanding ...

Ship collided with another ship in dock, crew failed to give warning

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

To begin with the positives, We enjoyed some parts of the cruise, it was a 11 night cruise and the ports, excursions and dining staff were fantastic. However, our last night we encountered horrible weather and had to dock in La Spezia missing our last two ports. Our ship broke the moorings on the dock and drifted away in the wind causing it to bump into the neighboring ship. Our family was ...
