Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

This was my 48th cruise, my husband's 46th. It was our 18th Celebrity. We've cruised on eight different ocean cruise lines (two are defunct) and three different river cruise lines. The first Celebrity we took was a 14-day on the Baltic on this same ship, the Connie, in 2008. Until we cruised on Crystal in 2015, Celebrity was our favorite line. Now it's our second favorite, behind Crystal. We feel ...

My wife and I are frequent Celebrity cruisers (14 cruises), but we had never taken a cruise less than 7 days. We were looking for something to do over Easter weekend and decided to do a short cruise and try Celebrities new Suite experience. While we have booked suites in the past this was our first with the new program. The suite only dining room ( Luminae) was intimate with outstanding food and ...

We sailed out of Ft Lauderdale and our embarkment was flawless. We were given access to our Aqua Class room early. The ship's crew were all friendly and accommodating. We upgraded to Aqua Class and thoroughly enjoyed the spay experience. It was worth every penny of the upgrade. The Blu restaurant is an added bonus . Anthony (from India) was our waiter each evening. His level of professionalism ...

The boarding was very quick and well organized and with in minutes we were on board and ready for Coco Cay....we thought. As soon a s we boarded our room was ready. This was our 8th cruise and our 3rd on Celebrity. I work out of town a lot so we saw this ...

Celebrity Elite vs Royal Caribbean D+

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

Having been on quite a few Royal Caribbean cruises and reached Diamond Plus, our objective was to take a cruise with Celebrity and see if the theoretically-equivalent Elite level actually is equivalent. We booked a 4-day cruise on Celebrity Constellation out of Ft Lauderdale in January 2016. Constellation was built in 2002 and renovated in 2013. Passenger load is slightly over 2,000 people. ...

Our Third with Celebrity and As Good As Ever

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

Our only complaint is that drink prices have risen about 15% since our previous cruise during April 1914. The Constellation is the third Millenium-class ship we've cruised; it was more than satisfactory. Excellent quality of food and service in the main dining room, as well as very good housekeeping. Embarkation was fine, though we waited a bit longer than expected for disembarkation. Cabin ...

Great New Year's Eve Cruise

We booked this cruise in early December just to do something different on New Year's Eve. We had not sailed on Celebrity in several years, nor the Constellation before, but we thoroughly enjoyed the ship and crew. Embarkation at Port Everglades was very easy. We arrived at the port early the morning of departure so we were able to park in parking lot right next to luggage drop off. We brought ...

First Celebrity cruise met our expectations.

Background: We are near retirement age, self-employed professionals, childless. Our only previous cruise was on the Norwegian Dawn to Bermuda in October 2014. We liked the size and feel of the Dawn, which led us to book an M-class ship (Millennium) for an Alaska cruise next May. I surprised my wife with this Connie cruise just before our annual family visit to Florida. I figured that sailing on ...

Another Great Cruise

We've cruised on several lines: RCI, Princess and Celebrity (I've also cruised on Disney). This is our 2nd time in Celebrity Constellation. The cruise was another fantastic short escape from reality. We're a younger couple (early 30's) that enjoy getting away from the cold weather of the midwest each winter for a little break. Departing from Port Everglades (Ft. Lauderdale) has always been great. ...

Good to get away but not the same quality as a 7-night...

We booked this cruise only in November since we already had flights and needed something to fit in our schedule. I was hesitant to go on a 4-night cruise, but we decided to give it a try. Embarkation was very smooth. We arrived at Port Everglades at about 11:30am. We had two concierge cabins (1 for us, 1 for teenage boys) so we went right into the Concierge line and it went quickly. From there, ...
