Very very small ship needs a huge update. Hopefully they will fix the issues cleansing and update disability Lyft to work.

old but nice

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

It was a good cruise except ror the noise every morning at 5:30. The boat is old and in need of some serios restoration. It was our first time on Celebrity although we've been on 22 other cruises; mostly Carnival, but we're getting a little older now and seemed like a good boat to go on based on reviews. The food was very good in buffet and main dining room. The entertainment was very good. The ...

Cruise was reasonably priced for a balcony cabin. Cabin was spacious with a wonderful amount of storage space. Food in main dining room was very good. The servers were good but some were more attentive and pleasant than others. Sushi restaurant was nothing special. Chairs around pool were too close together and no service. Room steward was excellent. Entertainment was poor. The dining room ...

A classic older ship and fun unique route

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

Most of the time, what the industry calls a "Cruise Vacation" is called for. I did a search for long cruises, 11/23, and then by price. In my experience, the lines are pretty similar. The Constellation is a lovely ship, and we had fond memories of an amazing trip to the Med and Turkey years ago. This 12 day run goes to some new countries and ports for us- Columbia, Panama, Costa Rica. ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

The Constellation ("Connie") is one of the older and smaller ships in the Celebrity fleet and while our group much prefers a smaller size ship experience to the large Apex monsters, the Millennium class ships (we did the Infinity last year) are just really showing their age. Worn furnishings and carpeting in the cabins, outdated TV's, showers, rusting hull and balconies just don't live up to our ...

We chose this cruise because of it's overnight stop in Cartagena Columbia, it was one place we had not been to. The stops were, Leaving Tampa, FL, Key West, FL, Cartagena Columbia/Overnight, Colon, Panama, Limon, Costa Rica, and Cozumel. We were the only vessel in Key West, so we were at Mallory square. The busiest port was Cozumel, their were 3 vessels at our dock near Margaritaville, and ...

Some Deficiences

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

The cruise was great, but there were a couple of downsides. The food, room and entertainment were excellent. However, we felt that the amenities were a cut below Royal Caribbean. We are going on a RCCL cruise in April so we will be able to see which one is best after the pandemic. I was surprised that Celebrity added a $17+ charge for lobster dinner. This was always free. The real awful ...

Cruising great, niggles with staff shortages

We choose cruises by the destination as we have no desire to do the same loop over and over again. Unfortunately many cruise lines rarely offer new countries or options other than the USA as homeports. As Canadians we find Celebrity do change things up and have done Asia, India, Middle East, Antarctica/ South America with them. This cruise appealed because of Panama and Colombia, new countries for ...

I moved to Florida in 2021. My first January, the temps were freezing so I promised myself a cruise for January/February 2023. Celebrity was having a sale for no solo supplement and Tampa is driving distance for me, so I booked. I was excited to see Panama and revisit Costa Rica. Embarkation was extremely fast. I used the valet service to park my car. That was very quick. I walked into the ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

We love transatlantic cruising. Only having to fly one way is a big plus and cruising this way is usually cheaper than flying. You can't eat, drink and be pampered on an 8 hour flight! We chose this cruise because we wanted to spend some time in southern Italy post cruise. We had previously been on another Celebrity transatlantic 6 months earlier (see my Silhouette review) that was not very ...

San Diego Disembarkation horror

We were quite excited to book a second cruise on Constellation, since we had fond memories of our Baltic/North Sea cruise of last year. The embarkation process went smoothly, and we were pleased with the ship's new color scheme, as well as with the 'fresher' look of the furnishings in our cabin. We found the staff as friendly and helpful as ever, so we looked forward to the pleasant 15 day ...
