Constellation is an older ship and needs it's planned upgrade next year. having said that it is well maintained, very clean and has a good happy crew The layout does need re modeling but the larger lounges and cafe are good points over Solstice class ships but the lack of alternative dining options and under used areas are worse. We were not happy at all with luggage arrangements at Venice ...

Very Nice First Back-to-Back Cruise on the Constellation

Cruising Background: I’ve been cruising with Celebrity since 2003 and this was my 18th/19th cruise (Tony, a few cruises less than me); and second time on the Constellation. This was our first back-to-back cruise, 3 September and 12 September 2019, with our friends. It was a very port-intensive cruise with fabulous ports of call. I would love to do another one but with more sea days. On ...

10 days Barcelona to Venice; Exhausting but wonderful

We can only travel easily during July due to our fifteen year old son's school and athletic schedule. The Caribbean holds no allure for us during the heat of the summer, we've done Alaska, and the Pacific is so far from the East Coast of the US, therefore Europe is our preferred destination. This itinerary/ship seemed to be the best value that Celebrity had to offer for July in Europe, so after ...

This is my first time with Celebrity and I was most impressed with the excellent service from housekeepers to crew to waiters. Everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole cruise. Also they always pass out a paper for next port so you can read through the FAQ for each port. ROOM: We stayed in an oceanview room second deck. Our restroom definitely needs some maintenance work cuz ...

we boarded Constellation 9th June and looking forward to several new excursions we had arranged for this cruise. We met our fellow Cruise Critic members as we sailed out of Rome, only a small group but very friendly. First stop Livorno, we joined a small group and went to Cinque Terre, wow, great day out, 1.5 hrs drive got us to Portovenere and from there the ferry to Manorola, the villages ...

This was my first cruise in a very long time. We spent 2 days in Venice our departure city which unfortunately was unseasonably rainy and very crowded but interesting nonetheless. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly despite the volume of people. The ship was lovely however our Concierge Class cabin which was reasonably spacious was looking a bit tired and we heard the ship was ...

We hadn't planned to book Aqua Class but ended up doing so, made little use of spa but cabin was very nice well looked after by Lester. Restaurant was main benefit and it was excellent, food very good and portions small enough to eat three courses. Front of restaurant team were outstanding and Frederick serving a delight. Somellier Enrique a star and chose great wines for us. Ports / excursions ...

Clean ship and great food & staff

Solid Celebrity cruise with clean ship, great food and wonderful staff. I was a bit concerned that the ship might appear worn since it’s close to its refurbishment time, but it still looked nice. I appreciate that little things, such as the art work, is kept current. Our balcony cabin was wonderful due to the expanded space. The cabin itself was clean & everything worked. (See further ...

Great itinerary, but soiled (to be kind) sky suite

Itinerary and time of year were good. The ship itself was clean and the staff were lovely. Our butler was fantastic. The sky suite however - not acceptable. We've sailed with Celebrity 3 times and all were on S class (just so you know I'm comparing apples to apples) The loveseat was filthy. Stains that should have been cleaned long ago and if not possible, replace the loveseat. It makes one ...

Abu Dhabi to Rome repositioning cruise

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

We chose this cruise for the ports. We wanted to see a Dubai and Petra. In my opinion, the ship was in pretty good shape. Yes, it needs paint in a few areas, but it is due for a refurbish anyway. I like the M class ships and was very happy with the ship. We could not get excited about the entertainment offerings in the theatre, which I think was because it was a repositioning cruise. We did enjoy ...
