We have used Celebrity for cruises before and decided to go away for Christmas and New Year. So when we found the cruise to the Arabian Sea and India in December 2017, we jumped at the chance. We have always wanted to go to India, so we thought a taster would be a good start. In the past, we had only cruised on the Celebrity Eclipse. So we knew the Celebrity Constellation was a smaller ship and ...
We chose this cruise because we would be away for my husband's birthday and Christmas and new year, and also because it took us to places we had never before visited.
When we arrived at Abu Dhabi airport everything went well until we were greeted by Celebrity reprisentatives to take us to our transfer coaches. There were not enough staff on hand to deal with the numbers of guests and it ...
This was to be an Anniversary Cruise. Dubai to India
The ship looked great on the outside but inside no WOW FACTOR to greet us nothing like the brochure.
It looked tired and dated.
The cabins were kept immaculate and the crew worked hard to keep the ship clean clean. The crew were very friendly and cheerful
The elevators one of the best bits
It was rated as 5* but a 3* was about its ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted some winter sunshine, visiting the UAE and especially India. The fact it included both Christmas and the New Year was an added bonus.
The ship was fine with a good cabin and excellent cabin attendants. We have been on a number of cruises before and the ships entertainment team were excellent by comparison. There were six sea days and plenty to do with the ...
Chose this cruise since we live in dubai and had difficult time with vacation planning due to the demands of our work and uncertainty about vacation timing.
We simply drove to abu dhabi and got on the ship for about 2 weeks. we sailed on the constellation about 10 years before and had an extraordinary trip 5 out of 5 stars.
This one barely gets 3 stars.
Visa service: -5 of 5 stars. ...
2nd part of India Golden Triangle trip + cruise- a 12 day cruise that was less than average for the money paid
We had an inclusive drinks package which was evidently embarrassingly very important to the band of heavy drinkers that were on board for this cruise!!
We observed that there was a problem getting a sun bed and nothing done by crew to make this a fair process so just glad we weren’t ...
Embarkation was not the best , most of the day was taken up by travelling from Dubai to the port of Abu Dhabi and then having to queue for the red tape involved. This took several hours, so did not get to see Adu Dhabi. Over all the cruise was fine my only criticism is they never tell you how much the gratuities are up front. When i inquired at the guest desk i was told its $27 per cabin per day. ...
This cruise was part of imagine cruising itinerary, golden triangle for 6days then cruise.
Enjoyed Dubai , wish we had more time in Abu Dhabi and Muscat . Usual hassle with Indian red tape and visas , but not celebrity’s fault . Unfortunately felt ship was showing its age in certain areas especially in communal areas , we prefer aqua class , but here again not quite up to mark as far as cabin ...
Our first cruise with Celebrity (mid 30s couple, no children) and had high expectations based on universally positive feedback from friends and other cruisers. Have previously cruised with Princess, NCL, Carnival and Regent and have done 14 cruises prior to this
Embarkation was slick and effective and first impressions positive with Champagne as we boarded. Ship looks to be in good condition ...
Is there anything better than being in the warm winter sunshine when it is snowing at home? Or having a Yuletide suntan! This was a delightful cruise combining relaxation, we had five at sea days, and the chance to visit a real crossover of destinations. From touring privately the slums of Mumbai to the opulence of Dubai all in four days.
Celebrity Cruises are very good. The entertainment was ...
