1-10 of 177 Celebrity Silhouette Cruise Reviews for Romantic Cruises to the Transatlantic
Silhouette is wonderful looks stunning and is very friendly.
I had joined the cruise critic roll call before this sailing and had some great fun for about a month beforehand signing up for group activities including a joke the turned into the most amazing chocolate swap.
Embarkation was brilliant my dad uses a walking stick and we were shown to the assistance line no wait and we were on the ...
Booked this cruise on a whim to get up over to Florida for an extended vacation. Overall the cruise was great seeing New York, Boston, Bermuda, Nassau and Fort Lauderdale. Firstly embarkation was really slow especially security. Once on the ship having already sailed on a Solstice class ship it was all very familiar. Our stateroom (concierge) was as expected, clean tidy and nicely appointed. ...
Reflection is a great ship. We love S-Class Celebrity ships and this is one of the best. Has the full Sky Lounge instead of part of it cut out for suites. Great commons areas.
two issues: seating is starting to get a bit worn and you sit very low in many of the chairs at a table. Not enough places for readers and card players. Need more open places so we aren’t taking up places for ...
I took a Transatlantic cruise with Celebrity Silhouette in April 2019, stopping in the Bahamas, Bermuda and Lisbon on the way. It was my first cruise on Celebrity and my first Transatlantic crossing and I loved it.
Celebrity Silhouette was beautiful, elegant and very well-designed. I was impressed with the cleanliness throughout the ship. The service was also great and consistent. My balcony ...
Embarkation was very slow in a very hot hall. Our cases came quickly and our room attendant was very efficient and pleasant. Our cabin was spacious very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean although the towels had seen better days. The ship was very clean and had plenty of things to do. I thought the entertainment was only mediocre especially compared to other ...
We sailed a repositioning transatlantic cruise.
Pros
This is my 43rd cruise and I haven’t been on a cruise I haven’t absolutely loved. This cruise was no exception. The staff were eager to make sure we were happy, especially our superior cabin steward, Martin.
This particular cruise they were very generous with the “elite” 5 to 7 pm cocktail time.
We had an obstructed view balcony ...
We expected more from Celebrity. The food choices were limited in the main dining room. They seem to always be trying to upsell you .Difficulty getting off the ship in port with only one gangway. Show times were inconvenient, with no show available after dinner. They were very prompt to close buffet and it was very annoying to have people cleaning around you while you are eating. We thought ...
Celebrity Crusies after a 4 years of sailing Cunard.
Since I left Celebrity Cruises in favor of Cunard Line four years ago, I came across a very good offer from Celebrity for a Transatlantic Cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Southampton this April on board the Silhouette.
I thought that a good opportunity to try my once favorite Cruise Line again!
The main reason for me switching to Cunard ...
We decided to take this cruise at the last minute. Fortunately, the only cabin available was a concierge class balcony cabin, 1065 Deck 10, and we loved it. It was close to the elevators and our room was quiet at night. We never sailed concierge before on Celebrity because I really didn't need the extra services. Depending on the cabin price, I am not sure I would pay much extra, plus the daily ...
Currently writing this in our cabin on the l2th day of a 13 night cruise. This is our 4th cruise in the past 12 months but our first with Celebrity. We chose this cruise basically because it was a Transatlantic which ended in Southampton, England.
Embarkation was the slowest of our 4 recent cruises. We waited for ever in line to check in. I think lots of other lines were moving quickly because ...
