I booked this cruise as part of my quest to experience as many different cruise lines as possible and this was my first Celebrity cruise ...... it most certainly will not be my last. I have to admit it did not start well with, what I thought was a very chaotic check-in process, with lots of unnecessary queuing. I much prefer the system where you are allocated a boarding group number and you are ...

i went on this cruise for the ports. Celebrity is the best.. I think some of the music and background music was not age appropriate. The age of the cruise was older but music and background was too loud. I loved the muted disco night though. everyone seemed to enjoy this very much. a great time for all. the open dining was great and allowed us to meet many people and follow up with dinners ...

This was a good cruise. We have done six on Celebrity and I would say this one certainly met or exceeded the standard set by our previous cruises. The crew were outstanding, wait staff, cabin attendants, bar staff, customer service, the lot. The embarkation process at Amsterdam was excellent; a significant improvement over last year's Baltic experience. We ate in the main dining room, ...

We chose this cruise for the Itinerary and the Royal Tattoo. The ports of call were wonderful and the private tours that we arranged with our fellow cruisemates were so enriching and fun. It was our first visit to Amsterdam and we really enjoyed the vid and countryside We stayed at Banks Mansion, a wonderful all inclusive hotel. We had great weather for all but two days, and thanks to ...

I am a seasoned world traveler, but have been resisting the notion of a cruise for decades, based on stereotypes of the past (such as their being for the "newly wed and nearly dead") and others' firsthand stories over the years (both good and bad). But I finally caved in, and tried my best to go with an open mind. So very glad I did and I'm already thinking of a second one next year, but on a ...

Although this was a special cruise to cover the British Open, I am not a golfer but love the area. The shuttle from airport to ship was excellent. A new system for the life boat drill was a bit strange. It was a strange movie shown in a lounge, and then we went to the actual boat stations. Not many people seemed to be following the movie as it ran. Food in the main dining room was great most ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. We wanted to see Ireland. We missed St. Peter Port due to rough seas. It was too risky for tendering. We had excellent weather everywhere.....only used an umbrella for a few minutes once....an amazing fact in the British Isles. Food and service was excellent in Blu, as always. Our waiter, Darko, was the best. We actually waited for one of his tables to ...

First time on celebrity had a great time, loved the ship it was very laid back and relaxing never noticed beds being reserved on decks as on other ships. Loved the lawn club, didn't see the need for a lawn at sea but it was like the icing on the cake. The only negative we found was that it wasn't always clear how much the extras were, for example Pilates or yoga classes would have an * or ** beside ...

My husband and I planned this cruise almost two years ago while we were on a Panama Canal cruise on the Infinity. The big attraction was that the itinerary included so many ports we had never experienced, including an embarkation from Amsterdam where we had never visited before. We are frequent cruisers, primarily on Celebrity, so were familiar with Silhouette and consider it one of our favorite ...

I have to start by saying that after we got back from our cruise, a number of people posted reviews of the cruise on this site and I was really surprised to find that our cruise was awful. But then I realized it had happened again. We had gone on the “other cruise.” Except this time we got the good one and they got the bad one. More about this later. This all started in November of 2014 when we ...
