"room service was good but limited menu for lunch/dinner - lots of choices for breakfast
Anyway, tho we enjoyed this cruise, I'm thinking of going back to Princess with an occasional Celebrity thrown in and that's cause their entertainment was exceptional tho I love the entertainment and atmosphere in the grand foyer onWe had a balcony and the room had a great lay out...."Read More

1-10 of 212 Celebrity Infinity Cruise Reviews for Senior to the Caribbean
To give you some perspective on my observations/opinions, this was our seventeenth cruise. We have taken nine cruises on Celebrity and eight on Royal Caribbean. We are fortunate to be able to sail in suites and on this cruise, we sailed in Royal Suite 6137. Our cruise prior to this was on Apex, also in a RS and the one before that was on Anthem of the Seas in a Star Class Suite. Therefore, I ...
We're in our 70's and have been on 30 cruises, various lines, but mostly Princess. I figured Celebrity was similar and wanted to check them out since it'd been years since we'd done a Celebrity cruise. Each line has their own advantage.
for us, it's the lack of children on both. We love children but not the chaos on a cruise ship.
The ship itself was fine but I missed the grand foyer of ...
OK, I have read the previous reviews and yes this is a smaller, older ship that needs (and is scheduled for in 2024) refurbishment. As the cruise Director Dave noted "yes, we don't have all the bells and whistles of some of the newer ships, but we work hard to make up for it with excellent service and quality attention to detail". And he was dead on correct. Dave, by the way, was one of the most ...
When we booked this cruise, we knew the Infinity had not yet been refurbished. Although a bit dated, we found the ship to be in reasonably good condition. We spent most of our days on the pool decks, participated in trivia, went to the World Wine Tour event, etc. We were surprised with the number of pool servers available to take drink orders, unlike what was being reported on other ships. We ...
We have sailed with Celebrity a few times and are always impressed with the ship, the crew, food, wine list and venues. While this ship is older we were surprised at how well she looks. Our stateroom was great, lots of storage and a really comfortable bed. Our dining room crew (table 149), Septian, Romal and wine steward, Vijit were all fabulous. They made our dining experience exceptional ...
We had not sailed on Celebrity for two years and had the opportunity to try the Celebrity Infinity. We were very happy with our choice. Yes, the ship is an older ship, however it is well maintained and to me, did not really show her age. The crew members were very friendly and helpful. It started with the Captain, who was very visible, gave daily updates and this is the only cruise I can remember, ...
We were so excited, our friends raved about the "retreat" class on Celebrity.
The thing we loved was the amazing crew, so impressive, they knew everyone by name from the first day forward, very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the Luminair Dining and Michael's Club, the cabin...not so much.
Unfortunately we were shocked and disappointed when we saw our cabin (6119). We paid a lot of money ...

Before I begin, everything in this review is entirely my opinion and my ...
We choose this cruise strictly for the dates, and it was our first Celebrity cruise. We were pleasantly surprised by the elegance of the ship, the above average food offerings, the 5 star service, the cleanliness, the amazing crew, I could go one. The ports where all good with the exception of Belize city. We tendered into port, toured the shops, and headed back to the ship for a spa day.
We ...
We chose this cruise because some friends were available and both our children were all out of school. We are usually loyal Holland America clients but have cruised Celebrity before about 10 years ago on both Solstice and Equinox in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. I was dramatically surprised at the drop in quality of the main dining. Celebrity once had an advantage on Holland in main dining ...
