1-10 of 42 Celebrity Infinity Cruise Reviews for Romantic Cruises to the Transatlantic
We choose this cruise because it was a Transatlantic one and it stopped in six ports, 4 in Spain and 2 in Portugal. Everything about this cruise was just fantastic. We had heard that the ship was dated and ready to be renovated, but we saw no evidence of that. Everything was exceptionally well-kept, and our service from all of the staff was impeccable.
We stayed in a suite and it was a ...
Great way to return back to North America after a European land tour.
Ship needs some updating, but everything is still fine.
Luigi, one of the best cruise directors ever. From Dominican Republic, young and endless energy.
Best entertainment lineup on over 30 cruises that we've taken.
Being a repo, additional entertainment was booked, afternoon shows and at least 3 guest lecturers. ...
We were looking for a longer cruise, and the possibility of a Trans-Atlantic and Europe (a first for me, not my Honey). We tend to look at Celebrity first for the balance and class - I can get a waterslide anywhere.
We spent 3 days in Rome prior to departure, and actually enjoyed walking 20 miles (really!) to tour the city. We were very lucky and happy with our Airbnb rental and the location. ...
We are experienced cruisers and have cruised on many various cruise lines over the years.
That said, we want to congratulate Celebrity on a great experience on Infinity recently.
We planned a trip to visit Europe and decided to take the Celebrity Infinity back to Miami.
The ship is scheduled for refurbishment next year and does show signs of age and the Wi-Fi system is terrible however, ...
The ship, although old, had a classics feel to it. Loved the way the Oceanview Café’s food stations are broken up, thus reducing congestion. The food there and in the main dining room was excellent. Probably the best we ever had on a ship. The specialty restaurants were not frequented well probably because of that.
Clearing the tables in the Oceanview is something they need to work on. ...
We have sailed Celebrity many times as well as other lines.
Embarkation- SLOW. Priority included so many, plus AQ etc. There were over 900 Elites and above on this sailing. So everyone had priority. Took about 45 min.
Stateroom 1141 - AFT facing the wake on 11. Overlooks the sunset bar. (1 of 5)
Oversized balcony is lovely. Under the overhang you cannot be seen from below or above. Once ...
We boarded the ship in Ft Lauderdale and it was quick and easy. Our Concierge Cabin mid-ship on Deck 8 was a reasonable size, clean and comfortable with plenty of storage for our clothes and luggage. Our cabin steward, as usual, provided excellent service. The Atlantic crossing was so smooth you really didn't know you were moving.
We enjoyed the cruise but feel some things are definitely ...
We picked this cruise as we had never been on a transatlantic cruise. The price was terrific. And we loved the itinerary.
The crossing was very smooth, except for one day in between Madeira and Lisbon. When I say smooth, the ocean was like glass. This was terrific for us to do some sunbathing. There wasn’t a problem finding a deck chair ever. Infinity is an older ship, due to be ...
Folks have already written about different aspects of this 14 night cruise so I want to highlight just two- the very FUN Activities team headed by Brittany (sp? I hope right), and the wide variety of live entertainment My wife, Sue, and I are PARTICIPATORS; we dance, we play every trivia, attend every game and contest and see every single live entertainment that is offered. Heck, we want to get ...
We have sailed Celebrity a lot and this is one of their poorer efforts. Even when we sailed Infinity a couple of years ago, it was better. The sad thing is that I don’t think they realize how their niggling little economies and deteriorating customer service are taking the Celebrity experience from “Celebrity” to “No name.”
Embarkation was sub par at 45 minutes. These things can happen. ...
