This was a wonderful cruise! The age of fellow cruisers was a bit older than I expected and found that I was in the young crowd at the age of 50. The fellow cruisers were a great mix of people from around the world. So many interesting and fun people on board. Many of the stops were a first for me and the transit through the Panama Canal was very interesting. I would definitely recommend this ...
We took the cruise to fulfill a desire to transit the Panama Canal. Crew was very courteous and attentive to our needs. Our cabin was clean and efficient with a balcony to sit and view what was happening outside. We broke Aqua class and got some nice perks - special dining, access to Persian Garden Spa, and other nice things.
Main Dining Room (Terrace) was too crowded and noisy for our ...
We choose it because we had booked it some years ago and lost it due to missing the plane and my Husband was a engineer and the interest was the Canal . We had to save for it again due to the loss of the money before.
We found the flight from Newark to San Diego very uncomfortable due to the fact we had no entertainment and we had packed our Kindles in our suitcase we were also allocated two ...
We liked the itinerary and staying overnight in Aruba. 3rd time on Celebrity and enjoyed all. This one really the best we've been on. Overall food was excellent, service probably the best we've had, and what helps was the fact everyone else was happy. When you have happy cruisers, everyone has a better time.
The Halloween party was a hoot! Lots of costumes, great party, excellent cruise ...
This was our third cruise with Celebrity. Previously sailed on Solstice, (2010) and Equinox, (2015).
We spent two nights before the cruise at the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas in Ft. Lauderdale which I would highly recommend. Cab fare to Port Everglades was about $25 with tip. Check-in and embarkation were very easy and quick. Cabins were ready shortly after we boarded. We were supposed to sail ...
I chose this cruise because we wanted to do the complete transit of the Canal. We've always enjoyed cruising with Celebrity and this time did not disappoint us. Passengers had been given a specific time to check in (based on the floor on which their room was located) so we didn't have the huge crowds all arriving at the same time. This made the check in process a little easier. Our room was a ...
We are not so-called 'veteran' cruisers. This is our fourth trip, and the first aboard Celebrity. Before we booked this cruise - from Valparaiso, Chile through the Canal to Miami, I read a number of the Cruise Critic reviews of Celebrity and of the Infinity. And, I'm confused.
Some have been very enthusiastic, but a fair number have been critical of the Infinity experience --- and our ...
Having sailed 10 years ago on the Celebrity Summit and the Horizon, and had a wonderful experience on both cruises, so I booked another cruise on the Celebrity Infinity. The Celebrity Infinity used to be Celebrity's top class of ship before the Solstice class of ships. The cruise was ten days and had 5 ports of call which included eastern and southern Caribbean islands. We selected the my time ...
This is our 3rd Celebrity Cruise and first on Infinity. We had been booked on a different itinerary out of Porta Rico, but our son and daughter in law informed us that granbaby #2 was coming in December and we wanted to go before baby is born. We booked a oceanview with hopes of getting a veranda when the prices dropped - that never happened and we did not want to pay the $800 price difference ...
