Two Elderly Loyal Cruisers Abandoned in South America
"This was the second phase of a back to back. Towards the tail end of the cruise, I contacted a stomach virus from the ship. I believed it was not noro virus as there was no vomiting or other symptoms that accompany..."Read More

We chose this cruise as we were a group of 10 persons who have all travelled widely and were looking for new destinations. The Panama Canal cruise with South American ports of call ticked most of the group's boxes. The ship's facilities were excellent as were the entertainment on sailing days and evening theatre. The state room cabins were excelent and were perfectly serviced by the cabin ...

This was part one of a Back to back cruise. We flew in to Buenos Aires a week early so that we could see Iguazu Falls. After all, if you are traveling this far, might as well see other spots. We got a great rate (Premier Class) on Aero Mexico from Orlando to Mexico City to Buenos Aires. A word of caution: I booked the flight online properly, and when I did a periodic check to make sure it ...

Cruise on the infinity for the itinerary, not for the ship

The infinity is definitely showing some age, some rust here and there, some fraying fabric on chairs and probably the most obvious is the state of the cabin bathrooms which are really in need of some overhaul. On the other hand, the crew is outstanding...friendly, always say hello when passing. The food has actually, IMHO, improved....the food on the infinity is actually spiced so if the dish ...

We chose this cruise because we wanted to experience the beauty of South America and thought that this ship could take us there consistent with the stated itinerary. But this is where the old saying, "believe half of what you see..." Celebrity forgot to tell its passengers BEFORE boarding that they were having issues with the propulsion system of the ship and, as a result, times in ports were ...

We usually cruise with Royal Carribean, but this itinerary appealed to us as a way back from a South America trip, so we decided to see what Modern Luxury is all about while wearing our Diamond Plus Royal Caribbean goggles. We have four previous cruises with Celebrity, the first ten years ago, and we thought we knew what to expect. EMBARKATION: Embarkation in San Antonio, Chile, was ...

Was going to South America ports we wanted to see. Production shows were some of the best we have seen in 35 cruises. The cast gives 110% every minute of the shows. You won't think it possible to move at that fast a pace for a full hour, but they do, and they will be waiting for you at the entrance to the theater after the show to greet you. The cruise director doesn't have the staff do all the ...
