1-10 of 27 Celebrity Infinity Cruise Reviews for for the Disabled to France
Like many others we were apprehensive before this cruise after having read various reviews but we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed this cruise from Barcelona to Athens.
We have been cruising regularly since 2000 and enjoy not only quiet public spaces inside, some with professional musicians playing in the evening but also quiet areas on deck during the day, both these were available on ...
Went on a cruise and upgraded (for a small fortune) to the premium liquor - they ran out of the wine very early and many other beverages daily. We complained and they provided the basic package. When we left they said we’d get a survey - big surprise never received one. Very, very disappointed.
When we arrived asked for the fees to be in our currency. They processed incorrectly and if we ...
Chose this cruise as we like sailing on M class ships and this one had a great itinerary with some stops we had not previously cruised to. We had some reservations when reading previous reviews about Infinity. Yes she does need a refurb which I understand will be later this year, but this in no way detracted from the excellence service we received from all members of staff. We had fabulous wait ...
We choose this cruise due to the itinerary. But sad of most of the Italian ports the ports in the most important like Florence left to early. And in other Countries where there was much to adventure stayed quite late. The ship is very old and outdated. Noticed duct tape in the oceanview cafe on the carpet in several places. The windows were dirty. Rust all around our balcony and bathroom. The ...
We haven't been on Celebrity for many years but since we were cruising with our grand-daughter (turned 6 on the cruise) wanted a cruise with an available roomy suite, good service and activities for a 6 year old. This cruise was priced right for a Royal Suite - probably because it hadn't had it's well overdue makeover yet - and also it was relatively early in the Mediterranean season. We weren't ...
We were on a 12 night cruise in the Western Med in an Aquaclass cabin. We were somewhat concerned before we left on this cruise having read a number of reviews talking about how tired the ship looked and indicating the food was so so. This was not our experience. The ship is older but I found it very clean and well maintained. They were repainting large sections of the wooden railings on this ...
We chose this cruise because going to Italy is on our bucket list! We loved everything about the shoreline tours, the cruise ship, the staff on the ship, the food, etc. We'll definitely be going back! The ship is one of the older ones, and we heard it's being refurbished in 2020. We took advantage of the excursions offered. Some were rather pricey, but we don't know enough about going on our own. ...
We chose this cruise because of ports, We have always had the best service on Celebrity. This cruise did not disappoint. Main dining room service was the best. We cruised with my cousin and his wife. We booked select dining and ate at the same time almost every night. We had the same waiter every night. The waiter was outstanding. He gave the best service I have ever had on a cruise ship. We have ...
My wife and I were very happy with the food, service and appearance of this aging but beautiful ship. The staff in Micheal's club was particularly helpful and attentive. We sailed on a back to back in a Celebrity suite, actually a comfortable, on board, apartment. The ship is classic with wood accents and panels.Celebrity is making a huge mistake ripping out the extravagant wood panels and ...
Poor:
1.) Our room and the total ship, for that matter, is very "tired". We actually traveled on the Infinity in 2004 and don't believe any updates have been made since then (dramatization on my part). The crew we talked to stated a retro is due in October, but that didn't help us for now. Every passenger we spoke to about the ship stated the same thing, ship needs help.
2.) No Captain's ...
