Celebrity fails on all accounts

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

Charges to my credit card do not match what was online on the ship. Further, we ran into the couple who dined with us on the ship at the airport and found out that they had the norovirus during the cruise and were allowed to come to dinner. On last few days both my husband and I were feeling under the weather and I came home sick with the flu or something. This was irresponsible of the cruise ...

We decided on this cruise because it had a 10 day schedule to the southern Caribbean Islands. We reviewed information on this cruise on youtube , one word of caution, do not listen to anyone on youtube, I believe they are getting some kind of benefits from promoting these cruises, I will make a list of issues regarding this cruise, 1. Furniture, bathrooms, fixtures, pool area, spa, ...

Nothing "Premium" About Celebrity

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

I chose Celebrity for this year's cruise because after several Royal Caribbean sailings, I thought the dining, in-particular went downhill, and I wondered if it was time for me to "move up" to a premium cruise line. For a balcony cabin, I paid about $100 more per night on Celebrity than I normally do on Royal Caribbean, but I could not see where that premium pricing was put to use. There seems to ...

Best cruise for nickel and diming you…

This cruise line gets the award for the best nickel and diming their passengers. Let’s start with the fact that you need to buy a beverage package (there is even one for water). we bought the classic for our two nieces and the premium for us. Turns out we had to upgrade the nieces from classic to premium because ice tea and cokes were not on the classic menu. One niece went to the spa and ...

9 nights Caribbean cruise

DON’T GO ON THIS CRUISE!!! I have been on 20 cruises, most of the on Celebrity, including 5 on Equinox. Decided to go on Equinox again, but this was by far the worse cruise experience I ever had. It started by them delaying embarkation, due to them having few prior cruise passengers getting sick with vomiting and diarrhea. While I understood that they needed extra time to clean the ship, ...

Oct 29, 2021 9 Day Cruise on Equinox We booked this cruise on recommendations that this was a class up from Royal Carribean. It was touted as having higher quality food and entertainment. It was our first and LAST Celebrity cruise. Overall, entertainment was extremely disappointing. Music was not what we expected. Traveling through the Carribean we expected some steel drum island, ...

30th wedding anniversary. * Embarking from terminal 25 ft. Lauderdale, port everglades, which is used almost exclusively by Celebrity was a mess, no order at all; Upon arrival in the terminal 25 was met with a very large mass of people standing around Pressed up against the gangway that was not allowing entry to the ship. * Packs of people no queues, no signs, no directions or explanations ...

So I had two rings stolen from my cabin worth over $2000 by a crew member. This theft was reported to Security who after my husband and I had already searched our room twice, searched it again with video cameras going. This theft was escalated to the Ft. Lauderdale police and the Detective tried to recover them with no luck. Finally this matter was escalated to the CEO who had her Executive Team ...

Spoiled Food and Spoiled Anniversary Celebration Two Years in a Row

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

Food was terrible!!! Served spoiled coffee creamer multiple times and molded berries for breakfast. Dropped the ball and ruined our wedding anniversary two years in a row then try to comp a $60 meal, throw in some cut flowers and cheap wine to say we are sorry after we spend over $4000. When it happned in 2015, given future cruise credit to try them again, that was a baited hook for sure ...

We started our back to back cruise on March 27th and ended on April 17th, 2015. This is the third back to back we have done and we look forward to each and every one. We had arrived in Ft. Lauderdale two days before simply to have extra fun and sun time. We arrived at the Terminal around 11 o'clock and within a few minutes were checked in and on our way. We had the same cabin for the two ...
