We love Celebrity Cruises. Everyone is always helpful, before and during cruise, polite and friendly. The Celebrity Singers and Dancers have always been our favorite. This was our second sailing on the Equinox, the first was our honeymoon in 2010 and this was also my 61st cruise..
Celebrity certainly is a notch above most other lines, from the welcome aboard champagne to the décor and the smiles of MOST staff.
Entertainment overall is very good with something for everyone but not necessarily will everyone like everything.

Really great transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale. We were in a balcony cabin that seemed to have a little more space which we definetly liked. The Celebrity Equinox is a wonderful ship with many outstanding features. Great cruise. The staff on the Equinox is the best. Loved the food in Blu, as usual. Finally got to Africa after three tries.
The watercolor class and leader Debbie was a highlight of the morning.
Wish their were 2 sessions of stretch class. Way too crowded.
Bars are way too crowded at coupon time. Never any seats available at 5 pm. Both getting on and off the ship went very smoothly, ...

We did the inaugural Transatlantic on the Equinox in 2009. We enjoyed it so much that we chose it again for it's last Transatlantic.
The ship was in splendid condition, and the crew was their usual professional and friendly selves.
On this particular cruise there was two standouts:
Jayne Curry (a singer and comedian from England)

Our second Celebrity cruise. We liked the sound of the itinerary. I researched the itin prior to sailing. Didn't need to after all. Embarkation was very smooth, as was disembarking. The staff really wants to expedite the process. The ship decor is very nice. The guests are of a nice caliber. Not a lot of kids. The positives of cruising on the Equinox are many and already well described by many other reviewers. The crew and officers are genuinely friendly and that helps make this cruise memorable and pleasant. For a TA the speaker program was a welcome daily event and there were several different topics covered that kept people filling the room each day.

We chose this cruise as we had enjoyed our first cruise on board the Reflection a year previous. Ironically the Reflection was alongside us in Barcelona , which brought back happy memories. Overall, it was a great cruise. There were some deficiencies in that the dining room food was good but not very good. The dessert menu was definitely lacking. There were same 4 choices every day with 1 or 2 lack luster choices added every day. There was only 1 dessert that was so good that I would have to ban it from my kitchen!!
