1-9 of 9 Western Caribbean Celebrity Beyond Western Caribbean Cruise Reviews
I have not sailed in quite some time due to Covid and wanted to try Celebrity’s newest E-class ship. It is beautiful; adult focused and has outstanding entertainment and technology. Cabin was fantastic. Martini Bar and Stern Bar now much improved. Also, the ship was spotless and the service was second-to-none. The ship was at about 60% occupancy. It was wonderful to cruise again.
I missed the ...
This will be a detailed review of my sailing aboard the Celebrity Beyond departing on 15 January 2023 and returning on 22 January 2023. We sailed on this voyage because we wanted to experience this new ship.
My experiences which I found very good or outstanding during this cruise and areas that fell below expectations are detailed below.
Embarkation - The check-in process went smoothly, no ...
Fastest embark to a ship in my life!! We were on in less than 20 minutes after arriving at the Pier
As a Ship-This is perhaps one of the most gorgeous ships we've ever sailed on. The decor is modern and it has this very "high end" feel to it. I would equate this to perhaps a really nice Las Vegas property like the Wynn or Bellagio. the Food was "ok" in the main restaurants but they could up ...
Let’s start with the pros which are not that many .
I must start by saying this was the fastest embarkation ever on a cruise.
The Sky Suite is beautiful and we had a wonderful butler Reggie a pearl
at sea for our cabin . The staff in general are trying very hard to make
passengers comfortable. The Luminea was my favorite restaurant for
my breakfast and to bad I didn’t used it more ...
Enjoyed the Edge and expected all the great staff from the Edge to be transferred over to the Beyond ( they were nowhere to be found). Booked a Royal Suite #12125 in the Retreat. Great cabin, cramped balcony with wide overhang giving one shade most of the morning and all afternoon. Separate bedroom, walk-in shower, separate tub, double wide trough sink with end faucets, separate doored water ...
We chose this cruise for destinations, timing, port location and cost.
We felt the service was lacking personal touch. The four main dinning area concept did not allow for waiters to become personal and did not allow for the waiter to engage. They always seemed rushed and not much interaction. Felt they were understaffed in the dinning areas.
Food was very average and lack seasoning. The ...
The Beyond is all about everything Celebrity does great: great service; beautiful spaces; wonderful entertainment; and an elegant atmosphere. Celebrity has moved many of its best people to the Beyond. There are still many people in training, and the ship is short staffed. But the staff work hard and most are top notch. We were at 78% capacity (2500 out of 3200) but it rarely felt crowded. The ...
We have been cruising with Celebrity since 2011 and its still our favorite. Celebrity truly understands modern elegance and great customer service. We booked a Mediterranean cruise on the Beyond for May of 2023 and decided we couldn't wait until then to try her.
SHIP- WOW, she's a beauty! Elegant, stylish and welcoming. Captain Dimitrios was so entertaining. The pool deck is spacious with ...
The ship was stunning and enough space for everyone. Our stateroom attendant was on point. Unfortunately, the ship was definitely suffering due to staff shortage, which was reflected in the staff, morale and behavior towards guest. While not all staff, but some staff seemed irritated when you needed service or asked for a drink. It’s a bummer because I was so excited to try my first cruise. with ...
