EMBARKATION flew on british airways 2 days before and stayed in south beach, then local bus to the port. very easy embarkation one of the best. went to the oceanview cafe for lunch which was quite crowded so ended up in the scorching sun. then went to my cabin to unpack. We arrived around noon, and embarkation was easy. Our Concierge Class stateroom was on the "hump," which afforded us an over-sized balcony. Our stateroom attendant, Desmond, was excellent. This was the first cruise from United States for this ship and it showed in service. The ship was immaculate, well appointed, with good passenger flow. There were some dining room growing pains such as waiters not knowing the table locations, maitre d' not at post while attending to issues. These S-Class ships are something else. We have been on the Solstice and the Equinox prior to "kicking the tires" on the Eclipse. Each of these ships has their own personality but the Eclipse we found to be in a class all its own. The art work and decor of the ship was different than its sister ships.
