Ok, First we are not new to crusing. This was our 42 cruise and 5th with Celebrity. What we found was issues with the service overall. In the main dining room we only saw the waiters assistant only once on the final night of a 14 day cruise. The other times we had diner the food was often wrong and cool-cold. One night my wife asked for a cup of coffee, 35 minutes later still no coffee or waiter. ...

I'd heard good things about Celebrity. We booked a holiday cruise just to enjoy a week of doing not much of anything, just some time in the sun doing a bit of reading. We chose a big boat because we thought the variety in dining and entertainment would be better. Boy were we wrong. Celebrity has three classes of passengers. The top are the "suite" passengers, the next are the "aqua class" ...

Our 31st cruise, second on the Eclipse. April 2014 and 2015. Sole reason we chose Eclipse a second time was because of the 14 night duration, destination and month. Pros: Very stable ship, public areas well looked after, cabin size adequate, soundproofing a success but quality of mattresses very limited. Cons: Food quality proposed on Sonata Dining room and on the Lido deck, very ...

Embarkation in Miami was not very well managed and it took us quite a while to get onto the ship although we were Elite. Once on the ship we immediately went to Bistro on Five and had a wonderful lunch. We got 3 vouchers per day to use on drinks between 5 and 7 pm. The drink menu was very limited. The ship was beautiful and we were delighted with our Aqua cabin. This ship doesn't have a ...

Worst cruise I've ever taken

We saved our money for one year to take this 14 day cruise for our 10 year anniversary. The cruise was $3,500 for us two for a concierge suite (which was super dinky and unimpressive). We flew out of Miami and the ONLY fun time was Florida before and after the cruise! The ship was really boring, the talent was terrible except the 2 main female singers were decent, the house band was UN-BEARABLE. ...

We are a couple from the UK in our early fifties. We absolutely love cruising and have mostly been on various Royal Caribbean ships. So as this cruise covered New Year, we thought we would " trade up " and although it was expensive, we thought it would be worth it to enjoy the 5 star treatment Celebrity promised. Oh Dear ! I really don't want to write a moaning, negative review but Celebrity ...

I was very excited about this cruise. I had only ever been on 2 Discovery Cruises to nowhere (gambling 4 hr cruises) before and EVERYone told me we would LOVE this cruise. My Sweetheart is from TX. He had never been on a cruise before in his life. After this cruise, I think the official motto for this ship should be: THE ECLIPSE, WE BLOCK OUT THE FUN!!! My first clue was the peeling ...
