The ship older but very well kept. I've read reviews on the contrary . I don't agree. We thought it was very clean. the attendants in all areas were exceptional. The shows we saw were good but i think younger audience may be disappointed in some of them. Husband loves the shows so he was happy . Buffet was so great we only went to dinning room 1 time it was good as well. the stateroom was ...

Our 15-day transatlantic cruise on the Celebrity Constellation from April 17 to May 2, 2023, was absolutely wonderful. We have been on about seven transoceanic sailings and maybe thirty total cruises on RCL, NCL, MSC, Holland, and Carnival. This is our sixth cruise since the industry opened up after the height of the pandemic. Preparation: We booked an inside cabin with a fantastic RT airfare ...

Long time cruiser - first transatlantic - a not so brief summary

Long time cruiser that has always wanted and looked forward to doing a transatlantic (TA) but with kids at home and in school the spring/fall sailings never worked for us. Fast forward to 2022.. both kids away at college so good opportunity to finally get to go on that first TA. However, with two kids in college we needed to find a deal to fit our budget. Even at a year out we found several ...

Just back from the 10 night sailing of the Constellation. We have sailed on over 18 cruises in the last 3 years, different cruise lines. We had high expectations of this ship as we had heard good things about it. The staff were very nice although a bit more formal than other ships. The food was excellent, especially the Sea Days Brunch. Loved the open spa area with the ...

Constellation 10/30/08 - 11/10/08 Vista Deck Balcony #7171 This was a family cruise (sisters, brothers, cousins) of 13 adults. We took the Celebrity bus from Boston to Bayonne. A great way to go to New York, the only disappointment was that bus driver was over 2 hours late (which made for a somewhat upsetting start, (seeing that we were told to be at South Station by 7:am, and the bus ...

This was our sixth cruise overall and our third on Celebrity, the last two being on the Summit. This was the first time we had traveled with two other couples. Each of those couples had done one other cruise, one with Celebrity and the other on an RCL ship. While I still believe Celebrity is at the top of the heap, it appeared to me that they are letting the little things slip through the ...

Please enter your review. This was our 15th cruise overall and the first on Celebrity. Embarkation was smooth and flawless. Friendly, efficient staff at check-in. The stated "express luggage delivery" of Concierge Class cabins was anything but. We boarded by 11:50 AM and the luggage was delivered well after 4 PM. Our cabin was well attended and the little extras of Concierge Class were a nice ...

Celebrity Constellation - Bermuda

This was our fourth cruise, our first on Celebrity. We are "itinerary" cruisers, and we booked this cruise because we had never been to any of the ports: Bermuda, St. Maarten, Aruba and Curacao. We also booked this cruise because of the "hype" about Celebrity. Conde Nast Traveler rates Celebrity #5 in Large Ships, above Holland America (#6), Princess (#8), and Royal Caribbean (#9). Why, I have no ...

Embarkation out of Cape Liberty proceeded without problems beginning at 12 noon. The Constellation is a large ship carrying approx 2000 passengers and congestion was minimal. We have cruised 30+ times on various cruise lines,Celebrity being our our favorite; however, lacking somewhat in the food department since our last cruise with them. The ship is magnificently laid out and directions front ...

To start with, we are two 60 yr olds traveling with our 37 yr old daughter. We usually travel one big cruise in the fall with her and two short ones in the winter and spring by ourselves. We booked into the Hyatt on the Hudson and guaranteed our booking with credit card. When we arrived at about 8PM, they had given away our room and sent us to Sequoias (?) where we did not enjoy the night. No ...
