1-10 of 52 Celebrity Constellation Cruise Reviews for Family Cruises to the Bahamas
My wife and I are frequent Celebrity cruisers (14 cruises), but we had never taken a cruise less than 7 days. We were looking for something to do over Easter weekend and decided to do a short cruise and try Celebrities new Suite experience. While we have booked suites in the past this was our first with the new program. The suite only dining room ( Luminae) was intimate with outstanding food and ...
We were so excited for our stay on an "upper scale" cruise line! Stayed in Aquaclass. Where were our towel animals? Where was our stateroom attendants? We never set eyes on him until we were leaving! We asked for ice to chill our wine in the bucket provided in our stateroom, and was brought a small cup, so we asked for more, and never received.
The one show we did watch was a not-so-funny ...
We sailed out of Ft Lauderdale and our embarkment was flawless. We were given access to our Aqua Class room early. The ship's crew were all friendly and accommodating.
We upgraded to Aqua Class and thoroughly enjoyed the spay experience. It was worth every penny of the upgrade. The Blu restaurant is an added bonus . Anthony (from India) was our waiter each evening. His level of professionalism ...
My wife and I were in Florida for the month of January celebrating my retirement. We found this 2 night cruise and thought it would be a great way to end the month. We had been on 9 Royal Caribbean cruises and had been told Celebrity is a step up when it comes to cruising. Well, I would not recommend Celebrity to anyone. I am grateful it was only 2 nights as any longer would have really been ...
This review will be as quick as this two day cruise.
Embarkation :
Arrived at port around 13:00 (1pm) onboard by 13:25 (1:25pm). Hardly anyone but kinda weird system after check in have to go to a different line for photo I.D picture. I could see this being a mess when lots of people.
Ship :
As soon as you enter the vessel you are greeted with a Champagne or Mimosa glass. That's a nice ...
Having been on quite a few Royal Caribbean cruises and reached Diamond Plus, our objective was to take a cruise with Celebrity and see if the theoretically-equivalent Elite level actually is equivalent. We booked a 4-day cruise on Celebrity Constellation out of Ft Lauderdale in January 2016. Constellation was built in 2002 and renovated in 2013. Passenger load is slightly over 2,000 people. ...
Our only complaint is that drink prices have risen about 15% since our previous cruise during April 1914. The Constellation is the third Millenium-class ship we've cruised; it was more than satisfactory. Excellent quality of food and service in the main dining room, as well as very good housekeeping. Embarkation was fine, though we waited a bit longer than expected for disembarkation.

Just returned from the New Year's cruise and while the overall experience was fine, the dining room situation was terrible. We have cruised Celebrity many times starting with the Meridian and sailed on many lines with well over 100 cruises under our belt. Celebrity started off by distinguishing itself from the others by the food. Menus were several courses and service was elegant and efficient. ...
We booked this cruise in early December just to do something different on New Year's Eve. We had not sailed on Celebrity in several years, nor the Constellation before, but we thoroughly enjoyed the ship and crew. Embarkation at Port Everglades was very easy. We arrived at the port early the morning of departure so we were able to park in parking lot right next to luggage drop off. We brought ...
Background: We are near retirement age, self-employed professionals, childless. Our only previous cruise was on the Norwegian Dawn to Bermuda in October 2014. We liked the size and feel of the Dawn, which led us to book an M-class ship (Millennium) for an Alaska cruise next May. I surprised my wife with this Connie cruise just before our annual family visit to Florida. I figured that sailing on ...
