Ship far too busy for its size.

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

Ship picked full for money grabbing Celebrity Cruises no thought for personal touch at all...why do they do this. Altering bars on the ship to accommodate more cabins when here's no room on decks for people to even swim or sunbathe unless you get up at 7am to get a sun bed. Usual queue jumping with a lot of people so ignorant they don't even know there doing it ...... It's very sad that ...

Good Ports. Places & Tours of Shore Excursions well chosen (not the execution).

We have cruised with Celebrity for over 15 years. We chose the Iberian Peninsula cruise as we had not been to the Ports on this cruise earlier. The Check-in took ages in spite being Elite Members. They had the bookings messed up - we had two cabins allotted to us. They took time to resolve the issue. Disembarkation was a breeze. Constellation is an old ship. With the refit and adding extra ...

Mainly to see Iceland and spend time in London before boarding. Iceland did not disappoint. It was wonderful, vast and scenic. Our first port was St. Peter's Port, Channel Islands. We took a ship's tour to Cornet Castle which was very nice. Next port was Cork Ireland and we took a tour called best of Ireland. We first went to Kinsale which was a long drive and we were given very little ...

Cruise to Arctic Circle: Didn't know what to Expect

We are Floridians who decided to see Norway Fjords and Arctic Circle during longest days of the year (June). We were unsure what to expect, and also traveling on Celebrity for the first time. We have been on 8 other cruises, with other cruise lines. Immediately upon arriving early onto the ship (we were told rooms would not be ready). We went to the Martini Bar, and met couples who were ...

We went on this cruise, last year and loved it! It is a very relaxing cruise.I could write a lot about the constellation but it would all be excellent so that is all that I'll say. Look for Waiter Joey, from the Philippines. He is fantastic. We did not Visit Stavenger. We visited Skjolden, instead, which was a beautiful stop. We booked all tours on the ship, but did a couple stops on our own. I'll ...

This was our first cruise with Celebrity. We selected this cruise not for the itinerary but for the excellent rates. We were not disappointed! The itinerary was great too. We would have signed up for a B2B while on board had we not had commitments for Thanksgiving. I estimate that about 50% of the passengers were British, 40% American, and 10% other, primarily Chinese and ...

Celebrity Constellation Immersive Wine cruise

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

This cruise was somewhat blighted by the outbreak of norovirus which, as another reviewer mentioned, caused a major dislocation to the ship's procedures. Small examples: the library was closed for a couple of days because all the books were being sterilized: items such as glasses in cabins, kettles etc disappeared on the last day at sea - again to be sterilized. The worst disruptions were in the ...

We were eagerly looking forward to this cruise, which we had booked in February. My partner was visiting Europe for the first time so it was even more exciting for him. We had heard about the norovirus the week before, so we knew there would be delays in boarding. It was actually quite a long delay, and quite a few people boarded before us which I thought was unacceptable considering we had a ...

We had never cruised Celebrity before, only Princess so we didn't know what to expect. The Constellation did not disappoint us. It is a different experience from Princess. There is no "Wow" factor when you enter the Constellation - the main lobby is nicely appointed but not palatial. The main dining rooms are lovely but not magnificent and the various bars and lounges are nice but not ...

I have sailed on the Eclipse so I was a little apprehensive about the Constellaion .however I was pleasantly surprised. The crew were welcoming and helpful. The ship clean and well laid out. Our outside cabin met our needs and we had no complaints. The ship had previously experienced noro virus outbreaks so no self service and no ice on the martini bar. The crew were well prepared with gel ...
