I will start with the good stuff because there isn't much of it. My waitstaff in the MDR was wonderful but I felt bad for them because of the complaints about the food, the time it took to get it, the taste, portion size, etc. The Guest Relations Desk was very helpful. The Casino staff was wonderful, very helpful and attentive. Getting on and off the ship was so easy and fast. I love the Lawn Club ...
This was our 24th cruise but only our 2nd on Celebrity. We just retired (ages 59 and 63) and this was to be our cruise to celebrate our retirement.
This ship is in dire need of upgrading. We struggled to find a single chair anywhere in the public areas where the seat had any support at all, they were so old there was no cushioning left in them, fabric frayed and stained. This included the ...
Celebrity is one of the best cruise lines but was extremely disappointed with the latest cruise on the Equinox. This was a first for me.
For those that like to exercise (like me) in the morning, please note that this ship carries 3k passengers but gym is very small in comparison. 13 treadmills and most were broken all week. (If you presume 1% of the ship exercises on a treadmill each ...
WE have sailed with Celebrity many times before and have previously enjoyed an excellent cruise.
This is the first time sailing with them since Pandemic and wow, what a difference!
The ship was only half full and that was the only benefit as far as I was concerned, no queues!
Standards have fallen to an all time low with little or no consideration to the demographics of the passengers. ...
We’ve been long time loyal Celebrity Cruisers, but our current cruise has been lack luster on almost every imaginable level. What was once a strong dining experience is now mundane and in most cases the food lacks not just originality but taste! The buffets were at best disgustingly mediocre, all but Tuscan Grill specialty restaurants were similar. Not sure if this is just Reflection or if ...
The food was exceptional. The buffet was the best on any ship and I mean any ship. Tuscan Grill was WOW. It just wins as one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Their cakes were disgusting though. However food on the ship is important but does not make the cruise on its own.
Activities were very lack luster. There was no BINGO which was weird. They also showed Whitney Huston movie 8 times and ...
PROS -
Ship is great, Medium Size, Easy to get around. We sail about 6 times a year. This was our 4th on Celebrity.
Ship only had 1200 passengers on this sailing. We have sailed on the Summit and the Infinity before.
My wife was on the Summit 2 months ago and she said it was great.
CONS -
Room Steward - Very Slow, Left for dinner at 530pm come back at 8pm and room still hasn't been ...
The staff on Beyond were amazing and really went out of their way to make the experience amazing. The corporate cuts are very deep and you can tell from the way staff talk about them they are also not happy with the cuts. Food quality has gone way down and the wine selection is very limited now. Rooms are nice as they are on all Edge class ships. The shows were great in the theatre, club and Eden ...
Starting off I paid for a balcony suite due to the fact my girlfriend had never been on a cruise before and we wanted to see the water. Instead we had front row seats to the dumb life boats and poles. Unable to see the entire view of the ocean that sucked. Secondly I want to go on a cruise to feel like I'm on vacation not like I'm in a mall with a bunch of people just walking around aimlessly ...
We just returned from a 10 night southern Caribbean cruise on the Celebrity Constellation out of Tampa. The following is a detailed chronology of the issues we encountered on our cruise.
Day 1:
We understood that there were issues on the previous cruise which caused a delay due to extra sanitation measures.
Once on board none of the staff on board has given us a correct answer. Asked for ...
