This trip gives you the best ports of southern carribean which can only be seen on more than a week. The food was excellent every night and the seafood in the specialty restaurant Porch was outstanding.Martini Bar was a happening every night. It is apparent that more guests are staying on the ship in many ports which means there are many repeat cruises on Celebrity. The perks for repeat cruisers are ...
The ship was beautiful and the Reflection has become our favorite ship. The feautures we specially liked were:
the walking track is not on the pool deck, the rear outdoor seating area was larger than other Solstice Class ships, the Sunset Bar area had lots of seating, the Martini Bar was a lot of fun, the staff was very friendly and the ship was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
Our dining ...
I loved the Itenerary. All my favorite islands. The ship is gorgeous. Very tasteful and not gaudy. Service in main dining room was outstanding. Try to get Frankie and Ketut. Deck 4, Select dining. The specialty restaurants were very good. Love the lawn grill, Murano, Tuscan Grille and of course Q'sine. The chateaubriand is incredible. Don’t miss it. Our room , C2, was nice and stewards were ...
We chose this cruise because we were on the Reflection last year and enjoyed it, we were happy to see a new Cruise Director this year, as we didn't care for the Cruise Director last year.
Something has changed in the past few yearss, the Assistant Cruise Director, who used to do such a good job at events now seems invisible on the ship. This was noticed last year and even more so this year. ...
Departing from Canada, we always have to arrive a minimum of one day prior to embarkation. Therefore we don’t have much time to explore. Next time we will arrive a few days earlier in order to explore Florida.
Embarkation is always easy for us. I am considered handicapped and am unable to stand for any length of time. Therefore we get assistance to board the ship. Everything’s goes smoothly as ...
We chose the cruise because we had never been to the Caribbean islands. We had cruised Celebrity in the Mediterranean and in the Adriatic and had been very satisfied with their level of service. The company continues to deliver to a high standard. We took a sky suite so we could enjoy the Luminae restaurant. This is a very comfortable space though I have to say that the level of the cuisine was ...
We chose this ship because like most other cruisers we love Celebrity and wanted to check the new ship out. This is a five star, beautiful ship but completely different than other Celebrity ships, which it should be. As with all things, change is hard and people are creatures of habit. That being said, below are the notable differences that may be helpful to hear in advance.
1. There is no ...
Was disappointed by several things. We are Elite level. There is no elite or suite lounge in the terminal. We were on the ship 15 minutes after arriving. We were permitted to drop off carry on luggage immediately, which was nice. the main pool is very long. The two Jacuzzi by the main pool are actually a deck above. This was a bad design. Who wants to walk a deck up to get in the Jacuzzi ...
So we followed this ship from concept to delivery and made sure that we were one of the first to sail her as a fare paying passenger.
Flight from UK to Miami with BA was great and we stayed in Miami at the Four Seasons prior to travelling to Port Everglades.
Embarkation whilst busy was good and we were onboard nice and early.
Cabin--the famous infinite verandah we thought was quite poor. ...
I had never been on a cruise before. A friend and fellow member of our club is a travel agent and suggested we try Celebrities EDGE.
I researched the ship leading up to the cruise and couldnt wait to experience it myself. Entering the brand new terminal built just for the Edge, i was astounded at the quick and thourough boarding process. Once onboard, I was absolutely floored by the ...
