We came back yesterday having spent a couple of days in Barcelona and then a 12-night cruise on the Celebrity Infinity sailing to Lanzarote, Tenerife, La Palma, Casablanca, Tangier, Cadiz, Valencia, Barcelona. The Infinity is the very first ship we ever sailed on, and now with many cruises under our belts, we were looking forward to seeing her again. Last time we had a standard balcony stateroom ...

We choose this cruise as a Christmas and New Year getaway. Even though we had an inside cabin, it was very comfortable and suited our needs. We wish to thank Betty (Housekeepng) for looking after our room and brilllant service. The food in the Cafe on Deck 10 was very good with many thanks to Miriam for making us so welcome. We don't do Restaurants or such as we are not into big ...

This was back to back after visiting England, Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands. Weather was great and the shore excursions were to new and interesting places. We were spoiled by the entire crew. We had sailed with some senior officers in the past and that got us some added perks that were greatly appreciated. We participated in almost all trivia games. We booked a back to back to back ...

We chose this cruise from Southampton as we didn’t yet feel safe taking a fly-cruise. The check in process was very efficient (mostly done on-line). Despite our reservations, the Covid-19 protocols on board were very well thought out and as unobtrusive as they could be. Cleanliness was given top priority. All the staff wore face masks at all times and politely requested guests to do the same in ...

I am reading in astonishment some of the recent reviews regarding the way Celebrity has dealt with the current crisis and the complaints and remarks made by some people. I was beyond excited to be ‘back aboard’ and especially my favourite Silhouette Was I disappointed that we weren’t going to Portugal? Yes Was it going to stop me going and have a good time? No Was the paperwork a ...

We were interested in seeing the ports on this cruise Combining with the relaxing sea days at the end. Everything about this cruise was fabulous. The ports included Ibiza, Cartagena, Gibraltar and Tenerife. We went five days early since there is so much to see in Barcelona. The Reflection is a great ship and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We went Aqua Class and I highly ...

We cruised on Celebrity in the early 90 from FTL to Bermuda. It was first class and the food a gourmet’s dream. We developed a love for so many new foods on that cruise. We always wanted to try X again to see if corporate had cut quality of food and services as they had on other cruise companies we’ve tried recently. We have just in the last two years returned to cruising after a twenty year ...

Third Transatlantic and the Best

This was our third transatlantic crossing, our tenth cruise in our five years of cruising together and our fifth cruise on Celebrity and it was, perhaps, the best yet. Just about everyone seemed at the top of their game. Everything cannot be perfect but almost all of this was with a couple of exceptions and they are noted below. Some people complained about embarkation and I suspect those are ...

My wife and I did this cruise for our 25th wedding anniversary. On the ship there was definitely an older crowd. It was had to find anyone younger than us without a name tag. It made us feel young, but I am sure my kids would have felt out of place. Overall, we had a great time meeting people. Crew The best think about celebrity is the crew. Before we left, I read some CC reviews about ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Celebrity Edge

We wanted to experience the new Celebrity Edge, and having been to most of other ports in the other itineraries, we opted for a Transatlantic to maximize the time on the ship rather than the ports. We were a part of a group of 10 ranging from our 40s to our 60s, and some of us were skeptical about the number of sea days...9 out of 14. Well....after our time on the Edge, we are all looking to do ...
