Great crew and awesome sights of the Cape

We chose to sail buenos to valparaiso, it afforded us good sailing days with daylight viewing of cape horn & beagle channel, from our starboard balcony. Our 2nd cruise with celebrity, we enjoyed the variety of bars to party (silent disco) or chill. We used the main dining room 4 nights of the 12, with our final night enjoying sushi on 5, sushi enhanced by the guidance of mohamed. Reports ...

Antarctica has been on my bucket list for some time and this cruise met or even surpassed my expectations. The staff were amazing especially our efficient and attentive cabin steward and our waiters in the dining room. The food was excellent for the most part but I was a little disappointed with the buffet which we only frequented occasionally. This was our fourth Celebrity cruise and we always ...

We chose this because we wanted to cruise around South America. By the time we got to our destination, Chile, they would not let us disembark so we had to travel to San Diego. this added another 15 days to the trip. Celebrity Cruise line and the staff of the Eclipse made the extra time memorable. We felt well taken care of. There were new shows and talks to keep us entertained. Celebrity made all ...

I chose the cruise because the destinations were clearly going to feature lots of natural history and animals ... and beautiful views of the Chilean fjords and Magellan channel. They didnt disappoint. Also, it seemed to have the right balance of sea to land days and I'd heard very good things about Celebrity. The entertainment was amazing and we grew very fond of the cruise director (Alejandro -- ...

Never been to South America. On ship for one month instead of two weeks due to fact that Chile would not let us disembark (San Antonio) - told regularly that cruise was healthy. Both my husband and I experienced symptoms common for C19 however were told common cold and over indulgence created symptoms. Have since found out that 41 people were positive after the cruise (including one fatality so ...

Antarctica is Indescribable

The reason for this cruise is simple: ANTARCTICA!!! The most amazing place I've ever been. The other ports were Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Falkland Islands (cancelled because of weather) Puerto Madryn, Argentina and Montevideo. There were a lot of sea days so I think they struggled to find enough entertainers or those willing to fly to South America. For example; the in house performed a night of ...

We were looking for an Australian Cruise when we stumbled on the Antarctica cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse, with a 4 perk deal that we couldn’t refuse. This was our second South American cruise, with our first being two years prior on the Emerald Princess with an Around the Horn. As vacation days are still limited for me, we booked a direct flight from Atlanta to Buenos Aires and skipped ...

Loved everything except being away from home for Christmas. New Year's was our best ever. Met wonderful people. Loved the ship. This itinerary was always on our bucket list and it was a wonderful time of year to take the trip - except for missing Christmas at home. We were with another couple and we did manage to celebrate Christmas Day almost as we would have at home - we brought ...

We spent 31 days going around Sout America and the ship and staff were outstanding. The Antartic ocean was very cold and we did not take enough warm cloths. Birds and animals were outstanding. Met some super friends. The entertainment on the ship was a let down. Haw many times can one sit and watch the ship dancers. They need more professional entertainers. The meals were excellent. ...
