Just back after 16 nights on NZ to OZ trip on Solstice. We had given Celebrity a miss for a couple of years as we thought the standards of service and food had started to fall over the many cruises wed done with them over the last ten years. We decided to come back as the itinery was good and we knew Solstice very well. Thankfully all our fears were unfounded. From the minute we got on we saw ...

First time cruising New Zealand and Australia. Due to such long flights-we looked for a cruise of at least 14 or more days. Started out looking at a 16 day one on NCL Jewel but flights were almost twice as much (leaving Jan 5th) as opposed to the 16 day one on Celebrity Solstice that left on Feb 17th. Let me try to summarize and start at the beginning. 1) flew to Auckland 2 days prior to ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and also because it was the Celebrity Solstice! This ship is very nice with excellent staff and great amenities. We arrived in Auckland 1 day early so that we could adjust to jetlag and also explore Auckland. The city is beautiful with a gorgeous harbour. Lots to see and explore. Embarkation was fine, staff helpful and cabin was nice. We had ...

We picked the Celebrity Solstice sailing from Auckland to Sydney so that we could visit my husband's family in New Zealand. We were pleasantly surprised, having done multiple sailings around the world with Princess, this was our first with the Celebrity line - we were not disappointed. I will try & summarize as best as I can. Embarkation/Disembarkation/Tenders Etc. I had read mixed reviews ...

Family holiday to celebrate son and daughters achievements. Wanted a all inclusive trip with minimal unpacking and an experience of New Zealand. This is wonderful cruise ship with beautiful clean cabins. Excellent amenities especially superb fine dining restaurants. Never felt crowded and passengers were fruendl. Embarkation and disembarkation all very smooth and thorough. Safety a ...

We've cruised Windstar, Princess and Oceania on multiple cruises. This was our first time on Celebrity. Comments in order of best to worst. The food on Celebrity Solstice far surpassed every other cruise and cruise line - except the Murano specialty restaurant. Silk Harvest and Tuscan Grille were outstanding and worth the upcharge. Oceanview café was good with great variety for being a ...

Boarded our second trip on the Celebrity Solstice in Auckland on Friday February 17, 2017. We were booked AQUA CLASS so we had priority boarding at 11:30, although all the other guests were given designated times most turned up at 11:30, so confusion occurred with the Celebrity staff standing at the front of the queue asking if people were on Decks 11&12 instead at the back of the queue ...

We chose this Auckland to Sydney cruise as a once in a lifetime trip. Overall the cruise did not disappoint. We were upgraded to Concierge Class and the stateroom was a good size and well equipped. We used 'Select Dining' which was great as it meant you were not fixed to any time or any table and therefore found ourselves dining with different people from all over the world every night. The food ...

We have wanted to visit New Zealand again and enjoyed the cruise experience. We were also pleased that Tasmania was on the agenda! We had 3 days in Auckland before joining the ship and found this just enough to settle into the time zone. On board, our cabin was comfortable and always kept clean and tidy by Zamzam, our Stateroom Attendant. He was amazing, always cheerful, polite and willing. ...

Very experienced cruisers and Celebrity fans. We chose this cruise to see NZ and OZ (we stayed 4 nights in Sydney after the cruise then flew to Melbourne for another 4 nights). We loved the itinarary and the sea days were just enough in number. We did our own trips at each port apart from the overnighter from at Dunedin which we booked with Celebrity. Now this is an expensive overnight trip ...
