The service in the dining room was the highlight of the cruise

Disembarkation was a nightmare. Access was very poor and generally there was less organisation by Celebrity staff than at the Pamplona bull run. To leave the cruise in such a manner left a sour taste with the impression that we had been dumped ashore and left to our own devices, The food in the dining room was good and service by our waiter, wine waiter and their assistant was exceptional. ...

This cruise delivered everything we expected. It was a way to experience various destininations whilst travelling in comfort. We spent a couple of days exploring Auckland before joining the Celebrity Solstice. Embarkation was well organised and within an hour of dropping off our luggage, we were welcomed on board. We were immediately able to enjoy lunch in the Ocean view cafe before making ...

We wanted to visit New Zealand but not any particular place just a taste of it all and did we get that yes we did, a fabulous itinery and in a luxurious way. embarkation was stressful as everyone couldn't wait to get on but once on it was just very relaxed, for such a big ship it never felt crowded. We paid for our drinks package before we left home with gratuities but found that most people ...

A memorable trip full of entertainment and majestic views

We chose this ship because we wanted a modern ship which was large enough to not be too rocky in heavy seas as my husband is prone to motion sickness. We had a delightful 12 night cruise where we would often wake up to a new vista each morning when we docked at a new port. Everything about this ship is first rate where you always feel your satisfaction and enjoyment onboard is the priority of ...

A really enjoy enjoyable featuring top locations in New Zealand but made extra special by the friendly attentive staff. If I have one criticism it is that the enrichment activities seem to be mostly verging on the side of quackery - you know, detox in seven easy steps, deacidify your blood. But that is my only complaint. Every was superb - the food offerings many and varied and well cooked ...

Boarded our second trip on the Celebrity Solstice in Auckland on Friday February 17, 2017. We were booked AQUA CLASS so we had priority boarding at 11:30, although all the other guests were given designated times most turned up at 11:30, so confusion occurred with the Celebrity staff standing at the front of the queue asking if people were on Decks 11&12 instead at the back of the queue ...

We chose this Auckland to Sydney cruise as a once in a lifetime trip. Overall the cruise did not disappoint. We were upgraded to Concierge Class and the stateroom was a good size and well equipped. We used 'Select Dining' which was great as it meant you were not fixed to any time or any table and therefore found ourselves dining with different people from all over the world every night. The food ...

We have wanted to visit New Zealand again and enjoyed the cruise experience. We were also pleased that Tasmania was on the agenda! We had 3 days in Auckland before joining the ship and found this just enough to settle into the time zone. On board, our cabin was comfortable and always kept clean and tidy by Zamzam, our Stateroom Attendant. He was amazing, always cheerful, polite and willing. ...

Very experienced cruisers and Celebrity fans. We chose this cruise to see NZ and OZ (we stayed 4 nights in Sydney after the cruise then flew to Melbourne for another 4 nights). We loved the itinarary and the sea days were just enough in number. We did our own trips at each port apart from the overnighter from at Dunedin which we booked with Celebrity. Now this is an expensive overnight trip ...

We absolutely loved this cruise. The weather wasn't great at times but we still enjoyed it. We visited some awesome places... Bay of Islands is still beautiful, some sad moments travelling around Christchurch post the earthquakes, certainly lots of waterfalls in the Milford Sound (they had 9.5 inches in the 24 hr period!) and some reflection time at Port Arthur, Tasmania. We met some fantastic ...
