Great cruise in a refurbished ship with good ports of call

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Infinity

Loved this cruise. Certainly helped by great weather and low price but also had very interesting ports of call of Thessaloniki (where we overnighted, and especially enjoyed), Kusadasi, Limassol, Rhodes and Heraklion. I've reviewed all of these in the relevant Ports of Call sections). Ship itself looking good after a refit, staff very cheerful and helpful, and food variable but generally good ...

(French below) My partner and I, part of an organized group (Voyage Louise Drouin) of 20 travelers, really enjoyed our first cruise aboard a Celebrity ship. Everything was perfect: excellent and abundant food, varied and clean common areas. Top-of-the-line service. Note that nothing is offered in French on board (unilingual English in all communications and activities), which can certainly ...

We chose this cruise because the dates were right and there was 70% off the 2nd person. We originally planned our honeymoon in Maui, close to Lahaina but it was ravaged by fire so we opted to change our plans but that left us with not as many options within that time frame. I preferred to go to Italy and Montenegro but as it turned out, the ports we went to were awesome. Absolutely beautiful and ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and the reputation of Celebrity. We arrived in Athens two days early, which was fortunate because our luggage didn’t show up for two days. Boarding was easy and efficient. We had arrived early at the port because that was when we were dropped off, but that did not present a problem. We left our bags (inside stateroom) and met our room steward, Roselle. ...

It’s true, the Infinity needs an overhaul but it still is a beautiful ship but the crew is what was most impressive. We were told it is going into dry dock in January for an overhaul. We are long time cruisers and have been sailing with Celebrity since before they were purchased by RCCL, almost 30 years ago. We chose this itinerary because we hadn’t yet been to Croatia. Leaving from Athens ...

First off, we had a fantastic cruise that at times was covid silly, but at the end of the cruise 100% of passengers and cruise guests tested negative. Masks worn at all times when moving about, but not eating or drinking. Getting to Athens and through civic test at the pier had its challenges, but relax you are on vacation, just follow the rules and paperwork. We civic tested before we left ...

We originally were due to travel to Bali our trip of a lifetime and as the borders remained closed due to Covid we decided last minute to book a Cruise . From the moment we arrived at the port until we disembarked we were in what can only be described as a surreal world. As first time cruisers we didn't know what to expect but we spent the week with smiles on our faces. We were booked into an ...

We swapped to this cruise as our cruise on Apex ath the beginning of November from Fort Lauderdale was looking unlikey due to the entry restrictions to the USA. We arrived slightly early and were able to straight for our Covid test which was complementary. 20 mins later the results were in, just make sure you have pre registered all your details with the tester's app. Another 20 mins and ...

we have sailed with celebrity before and have never been disappointed. we chose to sail on the apex because it was a brand new ship and had fabulous reviews. it was a fantastic time! the ship was the most beautiful ship we have ever been on! the ship was about 1/3 full and we felt like we had the whole ship to ourselves. the food, drinks, service, etc, was impeccable. they have four main dining ...

First trip on E class ship

After a couple of covid bumps and bruises booked the Apex because it seemed like Greece was a go. Never been to Greece and never on an E class ship so win/win. A few extra hoops to travel during covid, but my oh my well worth it. Brand new ship roughly 950 passengers on a ship that can hold 3k and sites in Greece that were not overflowing with massive crowds. I was totally blown away by Apex. ...
