We enjoyed the cruise. Ship is good and well laid out . It is our 4th cruise on the Equinox. Staff are generally all excellent and helpful. I am always amazed that they are able to maintain the quality of food in the regular dining room for the number of people they serve and highly recommend booking the other restaurants for a truly awesome experience.

We cruised on the Celebrity Equinox on the 25th Aug 2016 from Athens. The ship was a beautiful oasis of chic and interesting features that was a pleasure to be sailing with, on our first Celebrity cruise. We enjoyed the spacious cabin and bathroom and balcony, although a little TLC and a screwdriver would have been useful to adjust a few hinges.

This is our 9th cruise, 8 with Celebrity. Athens to Athens. We were supposed to disembark in Istanbul but Celebrity cancelled that port about 2 months prior and replaced it with Athens. We have recently returned from our cruise on the Celebrity Equinox. Due to the recent troubles in Turkey our final port of Istanbul changed so we cruised in and out of Athens. This change was managed superbly by our TA and we had better return flight times than our original booking.

Chose this cruise as it did the destinations we wanted, including Istanbul. However, looks like Celebrity have now dropped Istanbul as a cruise destination/port of call.

This was my second cruise with celebrity, the first one had departed form the UK so no experience of the flight/connections etc Flew Heathrow to Athens on 12th . Stayed overnight in the Novotel. The hotel is fine but the area around it is a bit dubious. We had organised a private transfer, we obviously missed the fact that there were coach transfers when we booked (online).
