We went for this cruise for the itinerary. Had not sailed with Celebrity before but reviews were generally good. We were disappointed. Most cruise lines want to extract your cash but Celebrity take this to another level. Definitely not to the standard of Princess or Cunard.

Let me start by saying the majority of the staff were great. I found some of the male help in the dining room did not give way to any females, even when they, the female, had the right of way. I found the decor of the ship drab and the floor plan very confusing. The organization of the ship/ships crew I found to be disorganized. We selected this cruise based on the interesting itinerary from Rome to Abu Dhabi, including a journey through the Suez Canal and a trip to Petra from Aqaba, Jordan. The ports were all a lot of fun and interesting. Several were easy enough to do on our own. Our time was limited in Catania and Muscat, so I wish we were there for more hours.

We enjoyed our cruise win this medium sized ship - it was easy to navigate, even if that meant not having some of the facilities of a larger ship e.g. a climbing wall. The staff and crew were all really friendly and helpful, more so than on our previous cruises.
