This 14/15 day cruise visited only 4 ports [excluding the embarkation/debarkation ports], and all of these ports were a long way from the "nearby city"-- about 4-6 hours (rt) by bus. The only stop with an enjoyable town/city was Ha Long Bay--- which is/was fabulous! Why they did not also stop in Hainan, China (as other more caring cruise ships do) is completely beyond me!! While the ship is not ...

A long awaited visit to this region after the trials and tribulations of getting the e-visa for India , we were very excited about the cruise The embarkation was very efficient after a long tiring drive from Dubai airport. The cabin wasn't ready until later but we had the use of the other areas while waiting and had lunch in Ocean view restaurant which was adequate. The ship was not as ...

Great Itinerary, Great Food, Great Crew, Poor Entertainment

The missus always wanted to visit India so this cruise itinerary gave us an ideal opportunity to experience India and ‘test the waters’ as such. We’ve sailed on many ships on different lines and only once prior had we sailed with Celebrity on the Equinox and we have fond memories of a classy ship with great food. On that, the Constellation didn’t disappoint. The food was really good and the ...

Not as good as I had expected

This was our first Celebrity Cruise and though it would be a step up from others we had done, P&O, NCL, RCL, but what a disappointment, maybe it was the ship as it was very old. Thank goodness we and most other passengers had got a classic drinks package in with our cruise, the drinks if we had to purchase were extortionate. We visited Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman, Mumbai, Mangalore, Cochin and Goa. ...

I choose the cruise for the destination. The ship too my surprise was 29 years old and showed it. My Gripes are as follows: 1. The cost of the drinks package are a complete rip off an extra $600 for a non alcohol package or $1800 for alcohol (about 25% of cruise cost). 2 Entertainment was third grade and boring. Sound in the theater was not up to standard 3. They used to let you watch ...

We booked this cruise two weeks before we sailed as it was good value. Drinks package was expensive as were the ships tours. WiFi stupid money that we did not buy. I had read previous reviews but we found the ship to be great - ok needs a refit but food and stafff were excellent. I was very anxious travelling to India but enjoyed the experience immensely. We met lots of interesting people and ...

Tired ship... glad it's going to be first for the Celebrity Revolution

This is the first ship to get the full refurbishment (a massive overhaul after 2 more voyages.) It shows. The were many broken and "slapped together" fixes in the staterooms and around the ship. Broken fixtures, wobbly furniture, poor mattresses, stains, puddles... The skylight over the Cosmos Lounge had a tarp over it - probably from leaks they were giving up on repairing. Our bathroom had black ...

We chose this cruise because we had not been to Japan or China - we generally enjoy celebrity. This Cruise was Ok with little wow. And with Celebrity I expect some wow. Our Cabin was nice enough however the bed was just OK. The Service from the waiters and room stewarts was exceptional. The entertainment was spotty at best. In some cases at least 1/4 of the audience left the show. The ...

WORST CRUISE EVER

The name of the game here is from embarkation to disembarkation "SELL SELL SELL". Penny pinching and extremely bad value for money. Travelled Aqua Class - very poor experience - services advised in this class did not happen! AMENITIES: Robe - don't other cabins have robes? Wine Classes - never happened! Hair Dryer - Don't other cabins have Hair driers? STATEROOM ...

This was along awaited trip to the far east and inparticular first time visits to Hong Kong and Singapore, where my parents lived for 20 years The ship moored ocernight in both Hong Kong and Singapore which along with a few days in hotels gave us time to explore Singapore is the most beatiful city and so accessible by road, river and train Whilst the Millenium is clearly in need of a ...
