We chose this particular cruise because of the Antarctica Itinerary. We had been to Buenos Aires, Ushuia, Montevideo and Stanley, Falkland Islands previously. Antarctica islands were fantastic. We wanted to go to see penguins and visit Antarctic. We were informed by Celebrity 7 days before departure that the ship was having propulsion issues, but we were not allowed to cancel the cruise. It is mind blowing that a cruise line could allow a ship with serious propulsion problems to head down to Antarctica. And greed can be the only motive. I have read the other reviews on this cruise and would agree that most of the amenities and customer service on board were quite good. Food, accommodation, entertainment, destination information from MickeyLive etc. all very acceptable.

I cruised Celebrity when they first launched 1989. They had bought another cruise ship. It was squeaky. I do recall an exceptional wine list.

The ship has propulsion problems which led to a compromised itinerary with only 1 1/2 ports in 14 days. The Good:
The staff are amazing.
Food and drinks are excellent and plentiful.
Antarctica is absolutely spectacular.
