Back in 2010 we cruised to Alaska on the Celebrity Millenium, we loved it so much we wanted to go back, we did and we loved it all over again! The Infinity is just like the Millenium, while they may be older ships they are clean and well taken care of, every one of the crew we came in contact with was always smiling and saying hello, the crew was wonderful! The ports were very nice as well as ...

Celebrity Cruise ship was highly recommended by our travel agent and we are so glad we took the advice. From the minute we stepped on board to experience our first ever cruise we had nothing but amazing service, food and entertainment to enjoy. We booked a balcony room because that is how we really wanted to experience Alaska. The room was mid ship to help alleviate sea sickness which was an ...

We arrived in Seattle on Thursday and met our traveling companions for dinner at The fisherman's. we highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Fettuccini. We have eaten there many times and its a must stop ant time we are in the Seattle area. I'm not sure what the fuss is regarding this cruise and the ship????? We had a great time. Embarkation was great, the ship is clean and well kept. Always ...

The Millennium was in fine shape. We enjoyed this cruise! The weather was cool but the Persian Garden and Solarium helped warm us up. The BLU restaurant was excellent as usual. The staff was friendly and efficient everywhere we went. The captain was the best we have encountered - very visible and kept everyone up to date as to the weather. We really enjoyed Japan - it was very easy to get ...

My husband and I had been on many Caribbean cruises and enjoyed them all, but had never been to Alaska. Being in Texas, we were tired of the heat and wanted to cooler temperatures. We'd never been to Seattle, either, so we went a couple of days before the cruise to get to know the city. My husband found the perfect airbnb spot, right near Post Alley at the Pike Place Market. However, being from ...

First Transpacific cruise and first time with Millennium

After enjoying three transatlantic cruises with Celebrity, we decided it was time to take a longer cruise to visit Alaska and Japan. While the size or class of the room never matters to us with European, Alaskan or Caribbean cruises, when there are few ports of call in cruises lasting 14 or more days we like to book a suite to enjoy Michael's Club and Luminae as well as other perks. And we ...

A Grand Lady with a great Captain and crew

We recently cruised on Millennium from Vancouver to Yokohama Trans Pacific. Initially we had some concerns about the ship from previous posts, to our delight once on board our fears had been a waste of time. The ship is older, she does not have all the bells and whistles of the bigger ships, yet there is a lovely feeling of ambience, a sense of feeling very comfortable and at home. Millennium is ...

Our first cruise, to see the wild life in Alaska was on our bucket list. We were not so sure about cruising being in close confines with lots of people for a week. However, we needn't have worried! We met many lovely people and enjoyed conversing but there was also plenty of space and varieties of venues to share together. One favourite was the Constellation Lounge, great for wildlife spotting - ...

Our cruise to Alaska was amazing starting with the crew, staff and scenery. Embarkation was so easy, we arrived at 10 and we were the first to board at 11 after proceeding through customs and immigration and the checkin. The ship is comfortable with plenty of space to enjoy the scenery and quiet little nooks to read or just get away from other people. We were in Aqua Class and truly enjoyed the ...

This was our first cruise to Alaska and second cruise with Celebrity. We departed from Vancouver. embarkation was very smooth, no line, because we got there after 3. Because we packed lightly and handled our own bags, disembarkation was a breeze too. As with our first Celebrity cruise, the dining and service were great. Our cabin was small but we got used to it. Our 25 year old daughter ...
