I loved the ship layout. Easy to navigate and find whatever you wanted to do. My favorite "activities" were the talks by Brent Dixon (naturalist) and Miss Amanda (historian). If you take this cruise, don't miss them. I learned a ton and loved all their talks.

On Day 2 our toilets wouldn't flush, this continued for approximately 10 hours, and then would work intermittently for the next three days. We called guest services and they did not appear to have any understanding or care for the issue. This was our 25th wedding anniversary trip. I originally booked a sunset veranda room, then canceled and rebooked a room that ended up being a 2C. That is my only real regret of the trip. our travel agent suggested this cruise, and she was completely correct. The ship is beautiful, the staff were very accommodating, and I couldn't of asked for more. Me and my husband loves cruising. We've been all over the world, but this is the second celebrity cruise we've been to.. We embark and disembark with no trouble at all. What a relaxing and enjoyable week we had on the Celebrity Solstice from Seattle to Alaska! Embarkation was the quickest and most hassle-free of any cruise we've ever had. There was a special lunch offered to Concierge class guests in the main dining room and we went right to it. Our cabin was ready shortly thereafter and our bags arrived in a timely manner.

Can't say enough good things
Customer service (remember customer service?) Every crew member smiled and said Hello, I asked for ice tea and dinner one night, next night ice tea already on table, Some families, few younger ones on board, mostly couples, average age 50 or so. I did not buy drink package and did fine. Hair dryer and UMBRELLA in room. Bed and pillows like home.
