Embarkation was speedy. We arrived around 11 am and boarded in about 15 minutes.
Debarkation was also speedy. We opted for dragging our own bags, since we had an early flight out of Sea-Tac. We were through customs as the first bags were being unloaded. We were out of the terminal by 7:30, in the (previously reserved) airport shuttle by 8, and at the airport by around 8:45.

I planned this cruise last October (2016) as an 80th Birthday Surprise Gift to my Mom. I specifically chose this cruise because of the roundtrip in/out of Seattle and the itinerary. As I had booked a suite, I knew my Mom would appreciate the beautiful balcony as she likes to rest and the extra time At Sea and Cruising the Fjords and Inside Passage would give her a great cabin experience! I picked ...
I recently returned from the last cruise of the season to Alaska on Celebrity Millennium, sailing out of Vancouver and returning to Vancouver. From start to finish, it was a great holiday. We stayed in the Sutton Place Hotel for a couple of nights and on the morning of our sailing, we walked down to Canada Place, pulling our cases behind us. It is downhill and took less than 10 minutes.

Our cruise to Alaska was amazing starting with the crew, staff and scenery. Embarkation was so easy, we arrived at 10 and we were the first to board at 11 after proceeding through customs and immigration and the checkin. The ship is comfortable with plenty of space to enjoy the scenery and quiet little nooks to read or just get away from other people. We were in Aqua Class and truly enjoyed the ...
Boarding the ship in Vancouver was easy, no line ups...
Our cabin 8172 Aft Balcony was fantastic, everything was in wonderful shape, the balcony was almost bigger than the cabin 3 chairs, 2 tables, 2 lounge chairs.
Wifi I had unlimited, it was not great... but needed... very in and out.
We did the Celebrity Whale watching in Icy Strait Point it was fantastic, we saw lots of whales, got ...
This was our second time doing an Inside Passage cruise to Alaska. The Millennium is a beautiful ship and the staff is top notch. Boarding was easy although you should be prepared to walk forever through Canada Place. There are lots of staff to guide you in the right direction. Once on board, we wandered a bit to get our bearings and then enjoyed a burger at the pool area.
Our room, an ...
An Alaskan cruise has been on my list for the past 5 years. I kept saying I want to go to Alaska but couldn't find a travel companion. Last November 2016, my sister in law called to tell me she booked on Celebrity Solstice to Alaska. I have heard for years Alaska is an old people's cruise, that is so far from the truth.
This was my first time on Celebrity lines. The boat was fabulous. Easy ...
It was a great cruise. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. To highlight a few.. Ananda and Baburao were fantastic every night at the trellis restaurant. We loved having them as our servers. Also, Derrek was the gentleman that took care of our rooms and he did a wonderful job and was also very kind and helpful.
Finally, the Brian James band was absolutely fantastic. We loved ...
Fifth cruise to Alaska and third on Infinity. We wanted a deal to Alaska and this was it. We are from Vancouver, so this was walk on and walk off and my elderly mother doesn't like to fly anymore. Also, this was the first cruise we had "Elite" status. Part of the deal was we could chose the category but not the cabin, which was fine.
The ship is getting old but there are good things and bad ...
It was our first trip on Celebrity and was supposed to be an "upgrade" to RCCL so 2 other couples joined for an Alaskan Voyage from Seward on the Millennium. We did see sun one day and all of our excursions were very fun but we were not able to enjoy the Island Wings Tour due to weather. We enjoyed our company anyway and enjoyed the vastness of Alaska even though everything was a bit wet. Now ...
