Chose primarily based on itinerary . Embarkation in San Diego was the worst and longest of any cruise taken. From what we heard ,this is a Port of San Diego issue ,not Celebrity. This cruise was recommended by our Travel Agent. We were very disappointed with the ship and the food. This is the third time we have cruised with Celebrity. The first and second time the experience has been perfect, really perfect. Not a single complaint or issue. Hence we booked this cruise. On reflection, a mistake.

We went on this cruise with 20 family members for a 50th anniversary. As soon as we boarded we were constantly harassed by crew members trying to sell something. This was our 3rd cruise (first and last on Celebrity). The first 2 days were the worse with hard sell pushes for drink/spa/dinning packages. After that we only saw the sell pitch when going to meals or watching their TV.

I Though that "Aqua Class" would be better... and was wrong! We traveled from Yokohama, Japan on a preposition cruise.. then to Alaska. Our first cabin on deck 2 had very little water pressure. The ship ran out of 'prunes' after two days at sea. Ran out of scrimp after four day at sea.
