The Good:
Capt Nick was fantastic, kept us well informed and was very visible around the ship.
Food and service in the MDR was excellent, although four inches between tables for two is really a table for four or six. We did the Celebrity Select and moved around until we found a table that worked for us.

Bookd this cruise as it was dirt cheap, at C$40 per person per day before taxes and fees. We were using it for transportation so it was a bargain.

The Infinity is an tired, old, worn out ship. Food was awful. Tuscan Grill, extremely disappointing. Salmon in Ocean View Grill and hamburgers and hot dogs on pool deck were the only good meals. Boarding the ship in Vancouver was easy, no line ups...
Our cabin 8172 Aft Balcony was fantastic, everything was in wonderful shape, the balcony was almost bigger than the cabin 3 chairs, 2 tables, 2 lounge chairs.

It was our first trip on Celebrity and was supposed to be an "upgrade" to RCCL so 2 other couples joined for an Alaskan Voyage from Seward on the Millennium. We had never been to Alaska before. We choose the Celebrity Infinity because of the ship had really good reviews. The ship looks very old and dated. The decor is in need of updating.

This is the 3rd cruise to Alaska on the Celebrity Line. 1st one was on the Century, 2nd on the Infinity and this one on the Solstice. The best of them was the Century. Truly an elegant ship.
