An overall decent winter getaway

Like the title says, overall this was a decent winter getaway. The ship was sold out which meant elevators were sometimes crowded, and the pool decks were almost always crowded but luckily not a huge amount of chair hogs. Chose this busy 14 day, 14 port cruise out of Dominican Republic for a great itinerary. We sailed this ship on our 1st ever cruise in 2003 when we still had kids. The ship is now the oldest NCL ship I believe and one of the smallest. We sailed out of La Romana after flying into Punta Cana on Superbowl weekend. My husband and I just returned from a one week cruise on the Favolosa. We have sailed on almost 20 cruises with most of the major lines so have a good base for comparison. Overall we enjoyed the cruise but there were several small irritations that were sufficiently annoying that we would not sail with Costa again.
