Excellent cruise.loved the stops- getting in on and off the ship was super easy and convenient. I appreciated that, the accommodation was lovely. We had a balcony room and that was great, staff was phenomenal and the food was top notch!!! Thank you for having a vegan menu it was awesome. The alchemy bar was lit! Really the best drinks were made here. All of the bartenders were amazing. I loved this ...
Overall great ship. The pros: great food and great venues. Many different areas to visit. Also very modern decor. We especially loved Emeril's (awesome jambalaya and beignets) and Teppanyaki (great food AND entertainment). The cons: disappointed with Chi-Bang (tiny food). Small servings! Also really disappointed with Heroes Tribute Bar (there is no bar there - the Pig and Anchor "Watering ...
Bathrooms -Well let’s just say for women not enough for us, the waiting game to see if ten people in-line for two- three stalls ??? Hope your bladder is strong ( just saying) The men’s bathroom well one stall if lucky two stalls you hit the jackpot the automatic doors stay open when the men are urinating just might not have door at all. The food you have got to be kidding same food on different ...
The balcony room was perfect but the matre d was horrible. Didn't see them but 3 days of the cruise. The food was bland and the same thing on the buffet everyday. Fine dining was the best. Tommy was the best. To many people to have just two pools. Casino was one big ash tray.. Had to walk through it to get to the rear of boat on that floor. Prices of drinks should warrant any one to buy package. A ...
The Carnival Horizon is beautiful ship, Staff was Amazing, but it is missing a few marks as it pertains to adults. We missed the Jamaica port of call on our Sailing due to inclement weather and although there are plenty of activities throughout the ship. When trying to get away from the kiddos for a while and relax in serenity we noticed there is not an adults only pool within serenity or anywhere ...
Just got off the Carnival Horizon april 2024. I have been on other Carnival cruises in the past and this was a shock. Carnival is not a cruise ship, it is drunken party boat. The atmosphere on the ship makes you wonder if some of the passengers had ever been taught manners. Carnival has cut so many corners that they have gone down hill fast. The ship is not kept clean. Walking around you see more ...
My recent voyage aboard the Carnival Cruise Dream from April 6th to 14th was a rollercoaster of experiences, ranging from delightful surprises to disappointing letdowns.
Let's start with the positives. Among the sea of mediocrity, two stars shone brightly. Dewa, our room attendant, embodied excellence in customer service. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made our stay memorable. ...
Amazing First time on a cruise ship. The experience was fascinating, incredible, AWESOME. There was a endless variety of food and drinks. The shops and entertainment were reasonable, mind-blowing, and intriguing. Always something to do, something to explore. Never a dull moment. I really loved that there was a "Friends of Bill W. " that I could attend. Housekeeping was great. The friendliness, ...
I took my teenage grandkids and we all had a blast. From food to fun in the sun on deck to the beaches and excursions. It was all just great and I would do it all over again. The staff are friendly and the ship was clean and comfortable. We even experienced a storm at sea and had to miss a port of call, but we spent an extra day at another port and had a great time anyway. We will be going again ...
Dining - When I booked the cruise, I had selected "Anytime Dining" but was actually assigned an 8:15 pm reservation for each night of the cruise. I didn't realize my dining reservation had changed until I went to one of the dining rooms and was told I had to come back at 8:15 pm because that is what is printed on the Sail and Sign Card. AT first, I thought I had made an error in booking and blew ...
