Had 3 nights in Athens prior to cruise . Embarkation went very smoothly and quick. Rooms were ready straight away too. It felt a bit flat walking onboard for 1st time as your straight into deck 0 the lifts . We have been on several cruises before with carnival , RCI and NCL and my most memorable embarkation was on carnival splendour, straight into deck 3 I think it was, into the most beautiful ...

Excellent Ship

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Carnival Vista

we choose the Carnival Vista as it is the newest ship in the Carnival fleet and we also wanted to do this cruise from Athens. The service was excellent from the time that we entered the check-in at the port to the time that we collected our luggage in Barcelona. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service, ship and itinerary. Having sailed with Carnival before and other cruise lines, we ...

Wow what an experience for our 1st cruise where to begin. Beautiful brand new ship, loaded to the rim with great restaurants, activities and attractions. Being an adventurous family, we never took the Carnival excursions, rather we rented cars in most of the ports of call, which wasn't simple due to the distances involved but ultimately highly rewarding due to the freedom and flexibility this ...

We choose these cruises for the itinerary : Mediterranean and Transatlantic. Overall we thought it was terrific. The ship was beautiful, great expansion of outdoor sitting areas, more subdued, classy decorating and fabulous staff. The live music entertainment was very enjoyable from shows to groups playing around the ship. Our cabin staff and dining room staff were great. I was concerned about ...

The number of various ports was exceptional - providing something of interest for everyone. Carnival Vista is beautiful and spacious. Crew is most attentive to ensuring it is tidy and clean. Our cabin steward team was prompt, energetic, and attentive to ensure our room was fresh and clean. Exceptional outgoing personalities - respectful, courteous, and thoughtful. Replenished our ice ...

My step-daughter and I went to Barcelona a few days before the cruise departed. We enjoyed exploring the city and seeing it's beautiful architecture. The afternoon we boarded, things went very smoothly from checking our bags with the porter outside, to checking in and getting our room key, to finding our cabin. We were staying in a Spa Suite and our cabin was clean and ready for us when we ...

On board I discovered the cabin next to us paid $700 less than we did (they booked around a year or so ago). When I told friends we met on board, I discovered they paid $800 less than us. They booked around 2 or 3 months prior to sailing. Both, like us, were on 3 b-to-backs and this was the transatlantic crossing portion. We were ending 15 mths of travel worldwide. We booked a while ago, ...

CARNIVAL VISTA - HAVANA is a HIT

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Carnival Vista

Fantastic Ship . requires many more days to explore without daily excursions. Can't wait to go again. Loved the Havana Suites and Cabana local and private access. We were pleased to see our cruise director JAMIE again. She was on our Carnival Sunshine Cruise in 2014 (December). The PLAYLIST Production Crew was phenomenal. FLICK was great, but all 4 shows are a must see. The Cast of ...

Carnival Vista, Med Cruise. Great Experience

This is Carnivals newest ship, Carnival Vista. It is a beautiful ship, very nicely done! The ship is quite spacious, we never felt crowded at any time on the ship. The embarkation experience was flawless, the room was a Balcony Stateroom and was of average size. The staff members were always friendly and helpful, especially our cabin steward, who was always gracious. The food was better ...

Great cruise

We booked this cruise in December 2015, our TA got us a great deal on an Ocean Suite, however, my wife was taken into hospital 3 weeks before we were due to sail. We feared that we would have to cancel, but her health improved quite quickly, and we both decided that it would probably be beneficial to have 8 days of rest and relaxation aboard ship but not do any off ship excursions. This proved to ...
